| The Color of a Song" February 26, 1989 The color of a song Nothing the same Nothing for very long Oh, this mood Music sways the trees Clouds at our feet A feeling come And gone We breathe mist In the space Of twinkling stars Dancing, oh, so close Why not this always I hope I long I love Laughing, singing The colors of a song Play in one's mind Night and day Glorious we come Nothing the same Thankful we were Nothing for very long |
"The Blackness of the Stars" February 26, 1989 In the blackness of the stars Our lives fleeting go by Floating in this space The emptiness A mist like the nebula Before our starry eyes We breathe the mist Of life so cold it seems Cold upon cold The stars sing Our minds vibrate Life so cold Lost upon this desert The blackness of the stars Shining shining The long ago in the light The dark side Comforts us As we gather speed The light lags behind Stars compressed Side by side Life gone Only this blackness remains |
"Subtle the Loneliness" February 28, 1989 Subtle the loneliness Settles over me Like motes of dust In warm afternoon sun I remember the time The sun streaming Into this room When loneliness was gone Now only strains of music Remains in the air The fragrance that was You and this lonesomeness Subtle this feeling Like despair and Unhappiness but Not really We remember Each other Arms around In that bright afternoon When is it over This memory The hint of your face That sunny afternoon of my life... |
"The Beginning" April 26, 1989 Let the children play Among the fields of the dead The Beginning of life Filled with such dread A groan escapes airless Among the trees Whispering of the past What shall we do What shall we do Moaning fills the morn The cold wetness Touches the ground Let the children play For they are the only life That fills this place Desolate hills of the dead Ah, the Beginning of life Fills the air Children happy Where is the despair Among the living surely The fields weep no more What shall we do When the Beginning is no more |
