Chapter 2
Tuesday
Jesse strolled up to the main entrance of Cross Grove Boarding School for Girls, just as the bell rang letting the girls out. Danielle glided down the steps with ease as if she had practiced it so many times before, wearing a red buttoned up sweater and a plaid skirt with her socks rolled down and some dressing shoes. Her silky blond hair hitting her mid back pulled into a barrette in the back.
�Jesse� she smiled walking over to him holding her messenger bag with her left hand. �What are you doing here?� she asked smiling a shy smile. �Waiting for you and Zoe of course!� he answered smiling.
Then Zoe came out in a gray sweater open and the sleeves rolled up with her white shirt tied right at the top of her plaid skirt and knee socks. Her stride wasn�t quite as lady like and graceful as Danielle�s but she had no one to impress anyways. Her unique hair was down and curly, bouncing every step of the way.
�Hey Zoe!� Jesse called to her, she looked up from the spot on the ground she had be concentrating on and smiled her pixie smile. �Hey Jess� she said walking up to him, and Danielle.
�Well aren�t I lucky, I get to walk with the two most beautiful girls in the world!� Jesse joked throwing his arms around both of them as the three walked along the sidewalk on campus. Zoe just laughed, but Danielle didn�t find the comment comical at all. She rolled her eyes and pulled away from him charging away.
�Danielle wait!� Jesse yelled after taking his arm off of Zoe and running after Danielle. Zoe just kind of stood there wondering what she was supposed to do, she decided, she would be interfering if she went and found them, so she went back to her dorm.

�Zoe, where did you put the shower radio?� Molly asked when Zoe walked into the dorm. �You used it last not me!� Zoe said with a sigh falling down onto her bed. �Are you okay Z?� Molly asked, her head popping up from behind her bed. �I�m fine! I just have a bad head ach!� she said rubbing her temples lightly.
�That�s to bad!� Molly said continuing her search and rescue party for the missing radio. Zoe reached into the drawer of her night stand and pulled out a bag of M&M�s popping a handful of 3 into her mouth.
�Zoe! What are you doing eating that?� Molly said shocked. �What?� Zoe asked innocently. �You can�t eat that, there is to much sugar in it! You can�t eat that!� Molly said lunging at Zoe. �Dude! I don�t have to watch it all the time! I�m fine!� Zoe shouted popping a few more into her mouth.
�Zoe, your d...� she started. �Molly just shut up you don�t know what your talking about!� Zoe said throwing the empty wrapper into the garbage and getting up and leaving.
�Zoe, sorry about that!� Jesse said to her the moment she stepped out of the room. �Oh hey Jess, no big deal, it wasn�t you fault!� she said holding her head with her hands. �Are you okay Zoe?� he asked resting his hand on her back.
�Yeah, of course!� Zoe said with a laugh.

�Zoe meet Greg, and Frankie!� Jesse said that Saturday afternoon. �Hey Zoe, we�ve heard a lot about you in the last week!� Greg laughed. �I have never heard of someone so interesting before, now tell me, how exactly did you get the piece of corn stuck in your nose?� Frankie asked.
�Jesse!� Zoe said hitting Jesse playfully. �Ow� Jesse laughed rubbing his arm. �Well I would have never been able to so it without the help of the oh so wonderful Jesse McCartney!� Zoe laughed. �So are we going to go out and eat or what?� Greg asked.
�Oh lets go out for ice cream! I am so craving sweets!� Zoe said happily. �Finally a girl we can hang out with, without paying extra for low fat!� Frankie joked. �Okay, so Frankie is the dork of the group!� Zoe said rolling her eyes. �I am offended!� Frankie said. �We have known it for years Frank, don�t worry!� Greg laughed.
�Karaoke!� Zoe shouted running into the coffee shop. �Zoe, no!� Jesse said. �Come on, please!� Zoe begged. �Zoe no!� Jesse complained. �I don�t care, come on!� Zoe said grabbing his arm and dragging him to the stage.
Then �I Don�t Wanna Miss A Thing� by Aerosmith came on. Jesse sang the song with Zoe, unwillingly. Frankie and Greg stood in the back making sure no one who know that they were here with those two.

�You�ve gotten better!� Jesse laughed. �Me? Your the one who got better!� Zoe giggled. �Good job Sonny and Cher!� Greg laughed. �Cher is ugly!� Zoe said scrunching her nose. Greg and Frankie just laughed.

�Well it was fun guys, I�ll see you later kay?� Zoe said smiling sweetly standing outside the main gate to Cross Grove. �Definatly!� Jesse answered. �We should do it again sometime!� Frankie said. �You can count on it! Soon!� Zoe laughed.
