Chapter 1

I cant believe it, Mel. Two weeks ago, I was broke off my ass wishing for something to magically change. I was just sitting there hopeless, waiting for myself to get kicked out of my apartment. Now I have a job, a job working with Christina Aguilera.

Mel smiled genuinely happy for her friend. It was a long time since Amanda was happy, it was a relief. Yeah, a major relief. Just remember, when you meet that hot stud muffin Justin Timberlake, tell him you have a friend who wants to lick his body. She laughed, From head to toe!

Amanda grinned, Yeah right. Id be too shocked to even be talking to him. She let her thoughts linger to him before deciding to change the subject, Anyways, thanks for coming with me. I badly needed to shop.

Anytime you need me, she gave her friend a playful shove, Ill always be there. She was staring at something in the stores window.

Her eyes followed, Ooh, lets go in there!

They looked at clothes for what seemed like eternity. These are so Christina clothes, Mel. So Christina. And the workers here are so Christina, too.

Mel giggled. Youre the one working for her.

Amanda gave her a warning glance, Im working
with her, not for her. She paused, Plus, when we met eachother, she seemed really nice.

Melanie nodded in agreement. But this still is a whore store. Itll be fun just to buy clothes for the hell of it, right?

Amanda laughed, Yeah especially these, she said, pointing to a pair of brown leather pants with cloth missing on the inner thighs and butt parts. She grabbed a shirt, if you could even call it a shirt, that was black with glitter and that was too small for anyone to actually fit in it, Wont these match? This is what she was buying. Maybe it would be good for clubbing or seduction, who knows?

Like, definitely. I mean, theyre both made for hoes!

                                              *                     *                         *

Thanks again, Mellie Youre the best. She embraced her friend, and kissed her on the cheek, Ill see you soon!

Melanie huffed, in a real un-woman like way. Right. You just keep saying that. But Im in reality, and I guess Ill see you in months. So, all I can say is call me everyday!

Amanda wiped a tear off her friends cheek that merely escaped, Youre so dramatic, Mel. Dont cry.

Melanie pushed her, Fuck you. Im trying to be sad for you. And you have to ruin the moment like you always do! I could never ever be your boyfriend. I wonder what he has to go through when he tells you that he loves you, and you say something stupid like, Oh really? Well, I dont love you that would suck. She said with a bright smile.

Actually, Ive said that before. She spoke with a hint of sadness. Melanie gave her an apologetic frown, But lets not get into that.

Dont blame yourself. Melanie spoke softly, patting her on the back, Nobody could stop what the future held.

Amanda laughed bitterly. I couldve. But I was selfish and didnt. She smiled sadly, waving a goodbye and closing the door.

She didn't want to think about him again. She made lots of mistakes in the past, only caring about herself. But she did realize she loved him, when it was too late. And she could never forgive herself for letting the most perfect man that ever came in her life go.

What was she going to do now, she didnt even know where to start. She hadn't even started packing, and the all that complicating tour things started tomorrow. 'Well, that's what you get for being a procrastinator' she thought to herself.

But her thoughts kept wandering off to Justin. She didn't know him, she wasn't even a big fan of his. All she knew was that he had a voice so angelic it could make you fall asleep in a second. She pictured his dirty brown hair and cloudy blue eyes, sighing at the thought of them. She wondered if he was different than what he put on to the public. She only wished he wasn't. He seemed so calm and at ease for being a celebrity. Almost like the boy next door, well almost- except a lot cuter.

Then she thought of Christina. She always seemed so provocative, but when she met her last week she seemed like the sweetest person in the world. 'I wonder if she is going to be nice to me, or what?' she thought, packing her new clothes in a large duffel bag, 'We'll only have to wait and see.'
