| Chapter 1 Thanks, everyone. Its been great tonight, Atlanta! I tried not to cover my ears as I heard even more screams from the large crowd in front of us. Hope you liked our show! I hope I see you guys again next time! I walked off the stage, grumpily. I guess I was always like that after a show. Most people always talk about how they love touring and how fun it is, but I tell the truth. Im always grumpy and irritated after dancing for an hour straight. You would be too if you were in my shoes, its tiring. I heard a familiar laugh come from behind me. I turned around, realizing whom it was. Christina! I embraced her with my sweat pouring onto her like crazy. Gross! She exclaimed, pulling out of the hug. I laughed, knowingly. Are you up for going out tonight? I shook my head, sleepily. Man, Chris. Im so tired; I dont think Im up for another night of clubbing. I didnt even get three hours of sleep last night. I need sleep tonight. She smiled, knowing the feeling. Come on, Starr. We havent been out in awhile. We dont even have to go clubbing. Lets rent a movie and watch it up in my hotel room with the guys or something like that. I looked down, considering it. I havent actually hung out with the guys in forever, but I see them everyday. If I wanted to sleep, I could always just fall asleep on the floor or something. Starr, please? She asked, pulling out her bottom lip. Just this one time. Itll be fun, we havent had fun in a long time babe. Fine. Are you serious? She threw her hands up, happily, spinning around in circles. Oh man, I am so good! Whatever Christina. This better be fun or else Im never going to want to hang out with you again. I looked over at Christina, smiling. Im sweating, I need to leave. Oh, good job at dancing tonight by the way. I laughed, knowing the reason why she said that. Tonight was my worst night at dancing Ive had since Ive been on the Justified/Stripped Tour. I guess you could say it was an off night, but I was really tired. Nobody even notices me in the background of Christina anyways. Fuck you too, bitch! I joked. In less than an hour, I was clean and ready. My dark brown hair was pulled into a bun and my contacts were now replaced with glasses. I was wearing a t-shirt that had an X-tina dancer logo on it and black pajama sweats. I walked to Christinas room, which was a few doors down. I could hear the noise from my room, but nobody cared because it was coming from Christinas suite. Ringing the doorbell, I started knocking on the door as hard as I could. Woman! Justin opened the door yelling. I laughed at him, innocently. Yes, I am a woman. How may I help you? He grinned back at me, dorkified. That isnt even a word, but it explained the way he was smiling. You really want to know? He asked, wiggling his eyebrows up and down. I shook my head, putting a hand to his chest. No, actually I change my mind. Whos here? I pushed him out of my way. We both laughed, in that kind of corny way. I love you, Miss Starr. He spoke, seriously. I hate you, Mr. Timberlake. I spoke, seriously. I pushed him, leaning over to talk to JC. Why are you here? I asked, plopping on the bed next to him. He smiled. Thanks for the welcome. He said, sarcastically. Im on vacation, just wanted to see my best friends in the whole world. I laughed, placing my elbow on his shoulder. Youre on permanent vacation, Chasez. He glared over at me, shaking my elbow off his shoulder. Dont touch me! He joked. Get your hands off me, sweetheart. I dont know where theyve been so I dont really feel safe. I looked at my hands for a second. My hands have been roaming all over places youve only dreamed of, JC. He looked at me, disgustedly. Right, Justin? I asked, jokingly. Justins head turned over to face me for a brief second. Huh? Oh, yeah sure. He spoke, turning his head back to his conversation with Christina. I swear, theyre meant to be. I looked over at JC, carefully. Dont you think? Look at them. He glanced over at them, laughing in their own little worlds. Yeah, I guess youre right. It would be difficult though, I mean, if they were together. Life wouldnt be as easy as you think. The press would be all over it. I smiled, knowingly. Yeah, yeah. But it could still work out, if you think about it. He smirked back. Yeah, how do you know all this stuff? Youre so smart, all hail Starr. I slightly giggled, Come on JC. Im a Sagittarius. Theyre all pretty smart if you know what I mean. We both watched as we saw Christina and Justin make it over to the rest of us. Well, JC, a few of Justins dancers that I didnt know quite well, and me, that is. Lets watch the movie, you guys. Christina smiled, warmly, at all of us. I hope you guys like Jackass, cuz I sure as hell do! I smiled, picturing Johnny Knoxville in the back of my mind in his leopard printed thong. Ooh, what a beauty. Love it, I said, lying next to JC. He ruffled my hair, messing up my already messy bun. Shut up Starr, we all know youre lying. We know you dont like Jackass, youre just trying to act cool. He grinned, egotistically. Shut up, JC. Watch the damn movie and pray to God that your son will be more blessed with things you, unfortunately, werent blessed with. I know it was really corny, but it was the comeback that first popped up. Mm-hmm Starr, you wish. Chapter 2 |
