| My Escape I blink, The lighting is harsh, I grip the knife tightly, It glitters in the light, I can see my reflection in it, There is a darkness in my eyes, That wasn't there before. I take a deep breath, And bring the knife down, Silently I pull it across my arm, The skin splits slowly, The blood oozes out, Releasing all the pain I"ve held inside, The red tears run down my arm like a river, But I feel no pain, There is no more pain to be felt, I've died inside. |
| Waiting In Heaven Like a shooting star, You were gone too soon. Your beauty touched us all, And warmed our hearts. You wait for us now in heaven, Where you have been crowned an angel. Do not fear that you will be forgotten, For your memory lives on. It is burried with in our hearts, Where a million years couldn't wash it away. |
| I'm Sorry You can't take back Things said and done in the past, No matter how much You wish and pray. The words I've said, The actions I have done, All come back to haunt me. I've tried to run from it, But I can't escape my past, It follows me wherever I go, Reminding me how I hurt you. |
| Sisters Of The Heart You make me laugh, And you make me cry. You make me smile, And you make me frown. You're always there to listen, To get me on my feet again. From the sunniest of days, To the most severe storms, We always stick together, Nothing can break us apart, Because we always have, And always will be, Sisters of the heart. |
| Blue Eyes Blue as the ocean, Clear as crystal, My eyes tell all. My voice may hide, My emotions I have inside, But my eyes Can't hide how I feel. |
| Reflection I look in the mirror, I see a girl staring back at me, Who is that girl? Is that really me? She seeems so lost, so alone, So sad, so confused. I look into her eyes, I feel her pain, Because her pain is my pain, And her life is my life. |
| You And Her You're too blind to see me, Standing right in front of you, Holding out my heart to you, Begging you to take it, To love me in return. But you push me aside, And run to the one, Who will never care for you, The way that I do. |
| My World Lost in a whirlwind of thoughts and emotions, My mind spins and my heart races, Everything is changing so fast, The colors of the world spin around me, Passing by me in a blurr. I try to stop and collect my thoughts, But the current of life sweeps me up, I try to fight the force that has grabed hold of me, But I am powerless against it. |
