Liar
If you ask me do I trust you
And I casually look away
I am thinking of the answer
And all the reasons I chose to stay

Justifying our love
With the lines that you read
I live in the denial
Of the stories that you fed

Numbing and forgetting
That reoccurring pain
Regretting all I've done
For a love that seems so vain

If you ask me do I love you
I undoubtedly agree
Your eyes, you touch, your smile
Do all but set me free

Adoring your every movement
Forgetting all those tears
Longing for your love
Fighting back my fears

Morphing into nothing
Standing in one place
Staring down the road
At the truth I refuse to face

If you ask me do I trust you
I tell you that I do
I give you my fake smile
Because I'm a liar too
