| I wrote this poem about the children that dies in the Holocaust: A child gone too soon A life taken away What would you have done To have just one more day You lived a life Controlled by fear Shedding your identity And your possessions held dear We live now in freedom But you hid your face You changed your life And were gone without a trace You were a victim But you were too young to know Why this was happening Why you never got to grow I will treasure every breath I will cherish every dance I will love with all I have Because you never got the chance |
