Here's Nibbles! He's saying "Look at me!!" He's a little escape artist. He'll take a suicide jump to freedom and then make me spend an hour looking for him. What a silly chinchilla! Nibbles is my first chinchilla, my first love. He came from a pet store I used to work at. I don't know how old he is because the the owner lied about how long he had been there. |

Here's Nibbles getting ready to take a dust bath. Nibbles is a standard grey chinchilla, which is the original color of the first chinchillas that were brought to america and domesticated. |

Here's the pic that stole my heart. The breeder sent me this when she said she had a chin available. Miles is about 5 weeks in this picture. Miles is a White Mosiac Chinchilla. He is all white except for his ears, the base of his tail, and a little gray dot on his butt. Miles was named after the late, great Miles Davis. God bless his soul. |

In this picture Miles is about 4 months old, sitting on top of his dust bath. "What you talking bout??". Miles came from Big Apple Chinchillas in New Jersey and was bred by Sandy Kaous. I drove 3 1/2 hours to pick him up! But it was definitly worth it. |

Here's Miles during play time (He told me to tell you to excuse all the poops laying around). When I give my chinchillas playtime I let them out in the Bathroom because there arn't any dangerous hiding placed they can get into, it's easy to clean and there is lots of fun things they can jump and play on! |

Yea! Here's Miles and Nibbles together!! It took me about 2 attempts to introduce these two together. At first they were scared to death of each other, but now they love snuggling together when they sleep. How cute! Nibbles spent a big portion of his life so far alone in a pet store. I think he is very happy now to have not only a loving caretaker like me but also a chinchilla companion as well. |
