Im sure many of u have heard of the author Dan Brown or if u havent hes the author of the da vinci code. the da vinci code ss actually the second book in a series..the main character is Robert Langdon, a symbologist. "before the da vinci code ws broken, the world lay at the merci of angels and demons."* angels and demons is the first book. langdon along with a a phycist, vittoria vetra, set in a quest to save the Vatican City. im not getting into detail becacuse its not the book i wanna talk about but the topic. religion vs. science. This book realy open mind on how far humans will go for the truth, to have their questions answered. what is religion? by definition it is: the service and worship of God or the supernatural. what is science? by definition is is: a branch of systematized knowledge that is an object of study.
ok so lets break it all down. 99 percent of the world have some sort of belief in a higher force or being. ok so the question here is who is right, science or religion? religion asks u to have faith to believe in something that cant be proven. in unexplainable miracles and occurances. while science performs miracles day to day.. saving many of lives..but also killing many.why do ppl turn to god? for guidance, for answers, for help. why do ppl turn to science? for guidance, for answers, for help. so everythings pretty balance. ok so then hwats the big deal.? well back to the book a little. in the book a very prestigous phycist/ priest(ultimate oxymoron)..leonardo vetra... has discovered that the big bang theory is true. he made something out of nothing. no one knew exept his daughter, vittoria. well the bible says htat everything in the world is created with an opposite. black white, evil good, protons electrons, everything. so he created matter..which everything in the world is made of.. and its opposite..antimatter. when opposites meet or interact..they cancel each other out. so what leonardo created was the most powerful energy source...falling into the wrong hands makes the ultimate bomb. if it touches anything in the world it explodes..ok so how far has man gone to find out the anwer to..where do we come from? are we meant to know these answers? |
