| In this section, I won't really be teaching how to draw anime hair. To me, it's something that comes natural. All it takes is looking at some pictures of people with wacky hair or just observe people's hairstyles. But I have drawn some examples of anime hair--they're not very good drawings but you'll get the basic idea. :) Anyways, I used a green marker to indicate where the scalp is of the anime people. In anime, the hair grows from the scalp, as I would imagine it should do that in real life too unless you have a wig on or something. The scalp is not flat. It's just like any other average human skull you'll find out there. |  | | Now notice the braids in this picture. They are not really hard to draw. The first braid is the kind of braids that one of my characters have, the others go into detail. Coming from me, it doesn't matter what kind of braids your character has--if they do have braids. Give them the type of hairstyle that would suit them and their personality ya know? A quiet anime person who has a quiet personality most likely wouldn't be wearing wild wild hair going all over the place and has different colors in her hair unless she just got into some kind of accident. |  | | And here's an example of some characters I drew with different hairstyles.
