| Rebellious, aloof, and a lone-wolf figure, Matt tires to keep his reputation as "The Cool One" while trying to keep emotionally distant from the others to show he can take care of himself. His distancing and brash independence result from his parents' divoce a while back. He's actually quite sensitive, understanding, emotional, and protective of TK. He doesn't trust other people easily, and is catious about making decisions. He has trouble expressing his feelings, except when he's angry. |
| Talents: Playing the Harmonica, and cooking Appearence: Blue eyes, Blond spiky hair (Result of using to much hair gel), a very serious looking face Wardrobe: Outfit 1: Sleeveless dark green turtleneck, dark brown gloves, dark blue pants that are rolled up near his laceless brown shoes. Outfit 2: The outfit he wore in "Digi-baby Boom," where he is comforting TK. When he was younger he wore a white shirt with long green sleeves. Outfit 3: Outfit he was going to sleep in the episode "Flower Power" He wore a black t-shirt, grey pants, and no gloves. He had a towel around his neck for a while before going to sleep. Family: Mr. Ishida: Matt's dad. He's serious and etermined, but light-hearted at times and a bit weird. (example: Waking his son up with his foot while eating noodles...) He smokes a little. He misses TK and his ex-wife (shown when he looks at a picture of the whole family a few years ago. He looked kinda sad.) "Nancy" Takaishi: Matt's mom. She too, like Matt, is very protective over TK! Not much interaction is shown between her and Matt. But when she did talk to him, he looked kinda sad. Takeru "TK" Takashi: Matt's little brother! He didn't agree to the Divoce himself, because when the whole family was reunited, he seemed so happy. He's suffering from the divorce as much as Matt, but he doesn't hide his feelings about it. He's very cute and naive! |

| More open to the world, Matt Ishida no longer plays his harmonica but is now part of a rock band in which he plays the bass guitar and is one of the lead vocals. His divorced parents still haven't remarried, but his mom and TK have moved in the same place as he and his dad - Odiaba! |
