Friday was my birthday party.
I got some really nice things, from my friends, of
course. Alicia, Erin,
Asia, Pam, Jackie, Leif, and Marianne were all there. I invited
ngela and Ashleigh, but
they couldn't come. Neither could Dannielle.
I saw Moulin Rouge on Saturday
in Vancouver. On my Dad's computer...because
he downloaded it.
It wasn't the best quality ever, but I love three of the songs, Your
Song, Elephant Love Medley,
and Come What May. They're so pretty! Now I can
tell Ashleigh I saw it...and
we can both bug Alicia if she didn't...
Anyhow...I don't really
know what the point of this entry is...besides the fact that
I haven't written for...way
too long. That's because it's too much of a hassle to open
up the silly Geocities
Pagemaker thing. Oh well. I think I'll format my own diary
pages...then I won't have
to use it.
I'm going to be eighteen!
Isn't that a scary thought? I can vote...which actually
isn't much of a big deal
to me...
Strange thought of the day:
"Every time I get my hopes up, they always seem to
fall." Here's the lesson:
Don't hope and you won't be disappointed. Be a pessimist
and things will turn out
how you think they will. Optimism is over-rated. Of
course I would love it
if my life could prove my theory wrong. But no. My life is
just pulling apart at the
seams...I should fix it. Maybe I can, maybe I will, maybe
I just won't.
Another strange thought:
Why do people always want to see the stupid movies!?
For example, I've seen
American Pie II, and Not Another Teen Movie with my
friends...but WHY would
anyone want to see such stupid movies?? They're not
worth your money!
I'd rather see Ocean's Eleven another time, or Lord of the Rings
another time than have
ever watched those two movies...
I didn't go to school today...because
they wouldn't let me. Don't get me wrong, I
love to have four day weekends.
It's just that Monday was supposed to be my easy
day! And they took
it away for a silly strike that isn't going to work anyhow!
This is really really long...probably 'cause I haven't written since...December...heheheh.
By the way, tomorrow's my birthday. And this is a cool font! (Bradley Hand ITC)
I don't have a quote yet. Give me time...Time's up! Here it is:
"Right...my birthday.
Um, actually, I-I do have a thing."
"Oh, a thing. A date?"
"Nice attempt at casual.
Actually, I do have a date. Older man. Very handsome.
He likes it when
I call him 'Daddy.'"
"Huh? Oh...your father.
It is your father, right?"
(Buffy and Angel...hehehe...)
