Hiii !! Welcome to my little place
on the web ;)
My name is Salizah aka LilacBlue, a Systems Analyst
from Singapore.
I'm basically just another friendly kampung girl
who's madly in love with her computer. Thanks to my bro Borhanuddin
for having bought me my first XT Turbo 14 years ago. I
used to chat alot on IRC but have reduced my chatting time & offcourse
my internet bills tremendously since January 2000. Nowadays I spend
my time watching TV, designing homepage, doing some graphics, watching
movies, self-learning and reading.
I read thrillers by authors such as John Grisham,
Michael Crichton, David Morell, Stephen King, Robin Cook, and Dean Koontz.
Maeve Binchy is another of my favourite author. I read a couple
of self-improvement books by Dale Carnegie, John Gray and a few other gurus
and hope to apply what I read in my daily life. I also enjoy reading
Couplehood and Babyhood by Paul Reisier; wish he would write more books.
All I can say is that currently I am hungry for more books and knowledge.
My other hobbies are cycling, listening to music
by Queen, Chris Spheeris, Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber, Andreas Bocelli, Ramli
Sarip, M Nasir and Elton John basically any kind of music as long as it's
not too loud, rap or too trashy. I also collect swatch watches, bone china
thimbles, pins and plates from my holiday trips.
I love to travel and meet people. I had a fabulous
time during my 10 days visit to Delhi, Agra, Jaipur and Shimla in India
on February 2000. 1999 & 1998 was my visit Malaysia Year. I truly
enjoyed myself visiting places like Terengganu, Kedah, Kuala Lumpur, Perak,
Kelantan, Penang and Pahang. The most pleasant experience was offcourse
meeting my IRC pals in Malaysia. I was in Turkey in November 97 and I enjoyed
it a lot; it's a very fascinating place. I've also visited Sweden, Denmark,
Norway, Amsterdam, Belgium, Cologne and Hamburg in Germany, Paris and United
Kingdom. 2001 will be my special year and I plan to visit Spain with that
special someone.
Ok friends hope you'll have a pleasant
stay in Lilac's Meadow.
