Innocence Lost & Found again

    Ever thought how odd times have become?  How much frustration, pain and corruption are almost hailed as the norm?  Aren't people obsessed with sex, drugs, power and playing mind games today?

    What has happened?  When is the last time you watched the Wizard of Oz?  Don't you wish life could be that simple and innocent again?

    It is not an easy task to change the world around us from discomfort to warmth.  This is only because it is so difficult to see the delusions of our own hearts, a prerequisite to helping others see theirs.

    Some people allow delusion to take such hold that they end-up finding comfort in the dark.  They try to drown their frustrations in a sneer of defiance.  The lucky ones, ironically, are those whose Holy Guardian Angel will do everything to prevent such sinking into false comfort.  These lucky ones may often need to live hell on earth, but their eyes open in time and they can inconspicuously change the world around them by showing the way.

    Those of us who have studied Vector Algebra will understand when I say that any and every human emotion, behavior, reaction and condition is nothing more nor less than a "Linear Combination" of the fundamental four: the "canonic basis for behaviour's Vector-Space".  As one discovers when applying practical notions of physics to this theory, we find that the opposing "fault" is not necessarily wrong or "evil".  In fact, it is often quite necessary for balance.  Where it becomes destructive is when one plunges into the counter-trait to the exclusion of the originating "good" version.  Then again, one can say that the apparent safety of refuge in the originating conditions only produces self-snuffing naïveté.

    The trick, in the end, is Innocence; how to claim it, retrieve it when lost, and keep it.  Everyone will find it back again in his/her own way.  Honesty and truth will always be the keys; so will be the relentless search for the the fulfillment of your soul.

Magick honors no age of minority.
But innocence is an ageless shield.

    With how many youth have I interacted whose attitude is one of "I'm a minor, I can do what I want and you're the one who'll get in trouble for it."?  When it comes to the Canadian legal system, they are essentially correct.  Below the age of 18, a person must have committed something very serious before being held accountable, and even after that, much of the burden is still laid upon family and school etc.

    Magick is quite different.  Magick will return the trouble of ill intent no matter what the age.  If the individual is strong enough of will, this retribution may take quite some time, but ill intents from the age of 6 (for example) will be returned as trouble against the offender in the measure hate and/or carelessness.

    On the other hand, many ill deeds come almost against a person's wishes, as a matter of necessity or even accident.  When a person is truly innocent (or more appropriately of good will), then Magick reacts accordingly, protecting the individual against unhappy returns; this, even at the age of 25, 35 or 95.

    The key, once again, is innocence.  NO ONE can judge of this save the individual, inside him/herself.  In fact, most people are prone to deluding themselves and are surprised by the unhappy or even unexpected happy outcome of things.  The only guideline (tentative at that) is to notice how much one complains.  Undue complaint ("bitching") in the presence of others is an almost sure sign of unease and unrest within the person's own soul.  But once again, only the individual can make such calls, in fact, only her/his Holy Guardian Angel has the final say.
