Matrix of the Mind is a demons most effective weapon against the most powerful of the imortals. Protecting them from mind attacks and can be used as a potent weapon.
Level 1 Telephathy:
This is the ability of the demon to make a mental conection with another and converse verbally through the mind, all emotions can be conveyed as well through this. This power is known by all daemons and is active at all times and does not constitute an action.
Level 1 Warped Mind:
One of the first things a student of the mind learns is to gain insight from madness, how to twist his own thoughts around and gather power from the dark recesses of the mind. They become able to have jumps of insight and vision, at the mere price of a momentary loss of sanity.
Level 1 Psi Shield:
As Demons are masters of the mind and the manipulation of all that includes so are they a sort of mental enigma, as is this power of the mind. With this power the Demon fully blocks the use of Psionics on or around the Demon, basicly this power neutralizes the use of any and all psionic powers within 50 ft of the Demon.
Level 2 Sense Thoughts & Emotions:
The Demon begins to sense the thoughts and emotions in the air around her. She cannot yet read these thoughts, but can sense their strength and intensity. This is not a true look at the soul, but at the shell of emotional radiance that surrounds it.
Level 3 Emotional insecurity:
The demon can affect the emotions and drives of another person, turning them against him or against each other. Love can turn into obsession, self confidence can break down into doubts and hidden fears brought to life. Neuroses can be created.
Level 3 Mind shield:
This power is just as it would seem, it completely blocks the use and affects of Auspex, Dominate, and all other mind effecting and reading abilities, by creating an inpregnable barrier of void which causes all who attempt to use these abilities on the demon to receive 2 levels of agrivated damage for their effort.
Level 4 Read Thoughts:
The Demon learns not only how to recognize thoughts, but how to read them. She can read memories "attached" to objects by others' minds. The greater the emotional content, the louder the volume and the easier it is to read such impressions. She can leave that same psychic impression on objects or places intentionally, too, "creating" Resonance.
Level 5 Mental Link:
The demon can now establish a clear, unbreakable link between his/her own consciousness and the minds of others. He/She can use this link for telepathic communications - or invasions.
Level 5 Suspend Reality:
Makes all the events upcomming only happen in the mind of those involved, and or watching only the demon knows that the events are not taking place and affects the measures used by the opponet whereas the casters actions actually do take place. (This power cannot be distracted by time flow counters as it affects only the minds of those involved and not the actual flow of events.
Level 6 Disorientation:
Consciousness and thought are quite unstable entities, and can easily be broken. The demon can derail trains of thought, induce hallucinations, force a victim into a coma or psychosis.
Level 7 Break the Mind:
The mind of a victim can be permanently warped into unrecognizable patterns eliminating their ability to function at even the most basic levels with but a word from the demon.
Level 8 Shatter the Mind:
At this level, the demon not only can break away minds from their bodies, but also parts of the minds. Memory, cognition or thought can be removed or sent away to other places. Things from the Astral plane can be brought into reality as well.
Level 9 Control Conscious Mind:
A Mind Adept can actually take over another person's mind and occupy his body for her own ends. His thoughts, should he/she will it, are not his own, but the demons. Once this invasion has begun, she may control her victim directly,cure or cause insanity, change his memories or set up post-hypnotic suggestions.
Level 10 Forge Psyche:
A Master of Mind rules not only his own mind, but other minds as well, both mortal and spirit. Through this power, he may invade not only the conscious mind, but the subconscious as well, completely rewriting the underlying personality until the thoughts which compose the psyche bear no resemblance to anything that existed before, utterly changing the person's Nature.
