| Welcome to the Perfection Dark Genesis 1 Order to Chaos - The first step in the recreation, the daemon can overcome confusion; indecision or any debilitating effect that may attack his essense or mind at the cost of 1 vim. At the cost of 3 vim, the daemon can extend this 'order' to surround himself and others close to him. A halo of recreation surrounds him, bringing perfection to the world around him. 2 Halo - Just as the daemon can bring order and perfection within himself, so can he bring disorder to others. His victim begins to fall susceptible to the particular forces of the attack. Scorn - with this focus, and at the cost of 2 vim, the victim begins to question the motives of their allies as they begin to distrust all friends, family and essentially all except for the daemon. Essentially planting the seed of evil within. Confusion - At the cost of 2 vim, the victim of this focus of Halo quickly and suddenly looses all order to their thoughts and actions. Their own perception becomes flawed, incomprensible and warped. They fight an internal battle to regain control of themselves, not a simple thing to win considering their own lack of focus and ability. 3 Idol - This boon remakes the image of the daemon into the likeness of his victims most cherished, worshipped, trusted, or loved being. To those of faith more often then naught appearing as their perception of 'god' or angels; to those of the unholy appearing as a demon or the devil. This boon affects the victim in such a way as to not allow them to do anything against the daemon and to have a tendancy to believe everything told to them as the truth. Costs 2 vim. 4 Zealot - One of the true powers of the recreation; a husk or dead being can be recreated and reanimated. The newly created Zealot will be completely loyal to the daemon until they are destroyed. The Zealot is merely a shadow of its former self, remembering and knowing all of its old memories but unable to feel the emotions behind the memories. The zealot has but one purpose, to serve its master until its own destruction and release. Costs 5 vim. 5 Evilution - With the use of this boon, the daemon is capable of changing the very building blocks of all beings. Depending on the focus involved are the changes the daemon can make drastically different effects. Interupt - With this focus the daemon re-engineers an evolutional factor in his victim's existence, from the color of one's skin to the blood's ability to carry oxygen, to even one's ability to heal. 2 vim. Next Step - With this focus the daemon can truly illustrate 'survival of the fittest', by either pushing his own or his target's genetic potential to its sheer epitome, or the reverse making his victim a genetic reject of their own species. Using this power can increase or decrease the victim into becoming truly perfect; stronger, faster, resilient or flawed; slower, weak and mentally deficient. 5 vim. 6 Void - This boon tears the daemon and his surroundings out of creation. The sphere around the daemon removes them from all methods of tracking, including even the gaze of god. All beings of light are instantly weakened as they know and feel they are truly alone. 4 vim. 7 Revelations - This boon begins the final stages of mastery for the daemon. With this boon the daemon opens his mind throwing himself into the labrynth that holds the true inklings of the Dark Genesis. In this ritual, the daemon fights his own inner demons that threaten him. If the daemon is successful, he learns one of the greatest secrets of the Genesis, the true name of god. This inner quest forever grounds the daemon to his true path. Revelations allows the demon to master his mind and essense at any time for he has recreated them. It also allows for insight into the possible future, appearing in his mind as a prophetic experience. He may even witness his own destruction or become aware of imminent danger. The effects of this are permanent, and the daemon is forever changed. 6 vim. 8 Gift - The power of the recreation is truly insidious at this level of mastery. With this ability the daemon is able to instill within any being the powers of the Dark Genesis. The being must be willing and must ask to recieve the gift. The being gains the ability to use the boon (chosen by the demon) that is bestowed, but the new found power instantly begins to corrupt them. Slowly bending their will to that of the daemon. In the end the Gift should be called the Drug, for those who taste it FOREVER crave its taste again. 8 Anno Domini - The ultimate expression of the Dark Genesis, Anno Domini permanently instills the recreation within a willing being. The recipient must be willing, whether authentic or deceived, any doubts will cause the ritual to fail. The basis of the power is the true claiming of an individual, having them sell their own soul to the daemon, and commiting themselves to the Dark Genesis forever. The recipient gains the boon, and must begin mastering it for themselves, but they sacrifice their own free will concerning the daemon. When the being achieves the mastery of Revelations, they are forever changed, gaining their free will once more, their new 'true' path, and also completing the corruption becoming a true daemon and losing every vestige of what they once where. 7 vim. |
