Hello everyone,
You might have noticed that
in the last few months, my stories have been few and far between. I thought it
was time that I explained what was going on. No, I haven’t left the fandom.
Starsky and Hutch still remains one of my favorite TV shows of all time. I’m
not angry at anyone, and I haven’t had any bad experiences in the past, with
anyone connected to Starsky and Hutch. I haven’t been writing for another
fandom, and I haven’t left any of my Yahoo groups. It’s just plain old, day to
day real life that keeps me away.
For the last six months,
we’ve been really busy at work. There have been some changes and now we’re at
maximum capacity at the tiny hospital I work for most of the time. Put that
together with my two daughters working, and sharing one car, and you can
imagine how little time I have for the fun stuff. I’d like to say that will
change in the near future, but I don’t think it will.
But that’s what computers
are for. I can start a story, and even if it takes months to finish it, I know
where it is. I’m not under any deadlines, and the only pressure I’ve felt is my
own. I can’t count the number of stories I’ve started, but they’re still
sitting on my hard drive and I’ll finish them whenever I can. Until then, I try
to keep up with my groups and read some of the other stories out there. Writing
is a part of me, and if my muse takes me on other journeys besides S&H,
well, I’ll deal with that too.
So all I really wanted to
say is keep checking back. You never know when you’ll see a new story here.
