Friends/Family
Friends: (In No Particular Order)
Matt Kates- I've known Matt really since grade 10. We've played volleyball and team handball together. Matt is an accomplished golfer and is attending the U of A this year. He hopes to one day be a Phys. Ed. and Math teacher.

Gary Wong- Gary has been around since my junior high days. Gary is a very competitive athlete who plays volleyball, basketball, baseball and golf. This year he is coaching junior girls volleyball at McNally and is taking Native Studies at the University. He is definitely up to date on the latest fashions and watch out ladies because this man is always on the prowl.

Andrew Hartley-
Andrew has been around since really the Toronto Trip of grade 10.  He is a skilled bowsman and is often heard talking of his numerous hunting stories. He is currently employed at Cascade fencing but is attempting to gain his private pilot's liscence. His dog is crazy so watch out.

Kent Akgungor-
Kent is the tallest of the bunch. At approx. 6 foot 3 or so, he's been blessed with natural athletisism. Kent is an incredible volleyball player (who has won a national championship with NAVC) but is also an outstanding student.  He generally has the highest mark in each of his classes. Kent also is an avid user of his computer and has elstablished quite the network of pages. If you need a webpage built just see him. Check out his page.

Jay Acheson- I've known Jay since junior high, he is a very atheltic guy. Jay is a competitive mountain biker and knows a great deal about the Tour de France and other such events. (A hell of a lot more then I know) This year Jay is at the U of A in the faculty of science. He plans on going into Business next fall.

Marc St. Arnaud- I got to know Marc starting in grade 8 when he came to Ottewell from St.Kevin's. Marc is one of those people who seems shy at first but really isn't once you get to know him. He's quite a funny guy actually. Marc played volleyball ( 1yr.), football and rugby at McNally.

Stephanie Mackey- Stephanie is a year younger then me. She came to McNally when I was in grade 11 and she's quite the person. Steph is extremely outgoing and full of life. Her fun loving spirit rubs off on all those around her. She is smart, funny, beautiful and athletic. Stephanie is in grade 12 this year and is once again playing volleyball, basketball, team handball and soccer. I really like Stephanie and guess that might have something to do with why we've been going out for nearly two years.

Keri Mann- Keri, I've know since even before junior high. She has played soccer basically all her life and has won a national championship at the U-15 level. She used to like Hanson and I'm not sure if she still does but I hope not. Keri is a hard working person and that's probably why she's been so successful accademically. She is at the U of A this year taking Science. I don't know her plans for next year and I don't think she does either. Here is her page.

Ann Blackall- I started to really get to know Ann in high school. She is really good friends with Stephanie and it was with her help that I started going out with Steph. Ann also plays a lot of sports including, basketball, volleyball, soccer, team handball and maybe rugby this year. From what I hear she's very excited about her grade 12 year and I hope that she'll keep an eye on Steph at all those parties :)

Other People- Dan Devlin, Everitt Crosby, Brown Guys, Jon Nguyen Ashley Nealon, Crystal Walton, Jen Rosychuk, Heather Wellman, Laura Sarchuck, Keltie Cameron, Everyone's Families etc.

Family:

Erin Loxam- Erin is my 20 year old sister. She is currently enrolled at the U of A in the faculty of Engineering. She doesn't like it a whole heck of a lot but she's decided to see if she can tough it out. She has excelled in all the sports she's played including soccer, volleyball, basketball and track. She was a member of the Grant MacEwan soccer team in 1999/2000 and was voted team MVP. In 2000/01 she was a member of the University Track and Field team. My sister spent most of the summer living in BC, so I was an only child for a short while. I didn't mind at all though. If you want to learn more about her, check out her site.

Pat Loxam- Otherwise known as "mom" works at PCL Constructors, one of the largest construction companies in North America. She is a training coordinator and all I know is that she travels quite a bit. The upside to that, (even though she doesn't like travelling) is that I get the car to use. In her spare time she likes to read, go for a jog or watch her kids participate in sports.

Arnie Loxam- Otherwise know as "dad" around the house is a teacher with the Edmonton Public Schools. He teaches math and health these days but remains active in the physical education department coaching both the seinor girls soccer and volleyball at Ottewell Junior High. As an experienced coach of volleyball, basketball, soccer and team handball, he has won a huge amount of trophies and medals. I'm sure he's pleased with all he's accomplished. In his spare time he enjoys golfing.
