(WoHo_O) time; we have more degrees, but less sense; more
(WoHo_O) knowledge, but less
(WoHo_O) judgment; more experts, but less solutions; more
(WoHo_O) medicine, but less
(WoHo_O) wellness.
(WoHo_O) We have multiplied our possessions, but reduced our
(WoHo_O) values. We talk too
(WoHo_O) much, love too seldom, and hate too often. We've
(WoHo_O) learned how to make a
(WoHo_O) living, but not a life; we've added years to life,
(WoHo_O) not life to years.
(WoHo_O) We've been all the way to the moon and back, but
(WoHo_O) have trouble crossing the
(WoHo_O) street to meet the new neighbor. We've conquered
(WoHo_O) outer space, but not
(WoHo_O) inner
(WoHo_O) space; we've cleaned up the air, but polluted the
(WoHo_O) soul; we've split the
(WoHo_O) atom, but not our prejudice.
(WoHo_O) We have higher incomes, but lower morals; we've
(WoHo_O) become long on quantity,
(WoHo_O) but short on quality.
(WoHo_O) These are the times of tall men, and short
(WoHo_O) character; steep profits, and
(WoHo_O) shallow relationships. These are the times of world
(WoHo_O) peace, but domestic
(WoHo_O) warfare; more leisure, but less fun; more kinds of
(WoHo_O) food, but less
(WoHo_O) nutrition.
(WoHo_O) These are days of two incomes, but more divorce; of
(WoHo_O) fancier houses, but
(WoHo_O) broken homes. It is a time when there is much in the
(WoHo_O) show window and
(WoHo_O) nothing
(WoHo_O) in the stockroom; a time when technology can bring
