Have you ever felt that something wasn't right? That the natural order of things was somehow altered by man and that things have never been the same? Or maybe you feel that there are powers that be that have decided our actions a long time ago and we have no control over our own lives. Speaking of power, maybe you feel that our government has abused it much too often and power needs to be handed back to the people. Folks, when I'm talking about saving the world, I'm talking about drastic social change. I idolize the sixties because true heroes emerged, fighting for what they felt was right and listening to their hearts, nothing else. I believe humanity and society needs to change and I know many people who believe the same thing I do. It is up to us whether we ultimately do change before it is too late. I am ready to dedicate my life to changing the world for the better to save it for future generations. But I'm young and have a lot to learn. I am deeply interested in philosophy which I believe has a lot of the answers. The upcoming social change will be one of ideas, a reawakening of the human spirit. Like any revolution we need heroes, something sorely lacking in todays society. Heroes are created, they are made through hard work and virtue. I am working my way towards this goal. And you can make it a lot easier. Examine your life. Are you helping or hindering society? Should you be helping or hindering society? Do you conform, listening to popular radio and watching what is on tv, or do you walk away and search for the more obscure, the underdog. These are a few examples, trust me there are many more. I'll leave you to find them yourself and question, then seek. Do you want to save the world? It starts with one. |

We the people have three options when it comes to bringing about change.
1. Leave the system as is, protest like ants in the grass hardly noticed by the powers that be
2. Improve on the system that exists today through programs and reform and having the right people in place. This has shown to be only sucessful moderately at best.
3. Provide another system of living that can realize humanities potential, while showing the fallacies of the old system.
Man is herioc. However in these times, he is herioc for the wrong reasons. And the heroes who are out there are shunned and not given their due.
Leadership is not what will take us into the future. Vision and ideas are what will shape the world to come. I have a vision, and this is only the beginning. I will live and be free, die and see a world alive. |
