2003 VARSITY CHEERLEADERS started off on the wrong foot with the wrong attitude. Going to camp with crumby moods was practically hell, Ms. Paul kept expecting the best out of us. She even believed that we would win TOP TEAM our very first day at camp, ha boy did we all laugh at her..we didnt even get a spirit stick that day!! The next day we were the most spirited squad and our attitudes changed a little, we were also having alittle more fun. Finally our last day it was our final critic and All American tryouts. We had 4 nominees from our squad to try out...Fran Domingo, Molly Adams, Ashely Smith, and me. Sadly to say only one of us made it which was me. This makes it my 2nd time to be an All American cheerleader. But to turn a frown upside down, our squad earned a bid to the Nationals, and we also won the NCA TOP TEAM AWARD, along with the most spirited squad. We earned a trip to the Hula Bowl but of course due to the school budget cuts, we were unable to attend!! BUMMER!! But you know we ended up having a good season . Ms. Paul did a fantastic job coaching us this year and I'd like to just tell her thank you for putting up with all of the cheerbull that we gave her.
