| Goku: Goku is the main character in Dragonball Z, his real Saiyan name is actually Kakorotto. He is a pure blooded Saiyan, from planet Vejita. He arrived on earth when he was only a baby, send to conquer the planet for Furira's empire. He was discovered by Son Gohan (the one who Goku's son is named after). When he was only a child however, he fell down a large cliff, hit his head, and erasing his Saiyan memory, and fighting based mind. He then became a normal child and grew up on earth. He trained under Master Roshi, Kami Same, Kaio-same and many more. In Dragonball Z, Goku defeats most of the major villians like: Vejita, Furiza, Majin Buu, Hildegarn, Android 13, Brolli, Koola, Metal Koola, and many more. Goku is the first to go Super Saiyan, the first to go Super Saiyan 3, and the first to go Super Saiyan 4. Goku is Married to Chichi, has 2 sons, Gohan and Goten. His real dad is Bardock, his adopted(earth) dad is Son Gohan. He fused with Vejita to form Gojita, and Vejitto. |
| Gohan: Gohan, names after Goku's adopted father, is a half blooded Saiyan/Human. In the begining of Dragonball Z, he is just a normal child, and Chichi always makes him study to get a degree in the future. In the Radditz fight he discovers his true strenght, but by accident, and Piccolo realizes the potential power within him. Gohan is trained by Piccolo and they become the best of friends. Gohan has the potential to be the strongest warrior, but in his anger in where his real power arises is. He defeats Cell and Bojack. Gohan is the first to go Super Saiyan 2. He trained under Piccolo, Goku, and Kaiou-shin. He marrys Videl, and has a daughter Pan. |
| Goten: Goten is alot like his father, Goku. He is a peace loving person. Goten is the youngest son of Goku and Chichi. He turns Super Saiyan at the young age of 7, which surpises everyone big time. Goten defeated only one major enemy which was Bio Brolli with the help of his best friend trunks. He supuvely becomes married to Bra, Vegita's daughter but isn't for surtain. His son is Vejita Jr. I think. Goten can fuse with trunks to form Gotenks. |
| Vegita: Vegita, is the price of the Saiyans, and the son of King Vegita (all of the Saiyan kings must be names Vegita). He is incredibly strong at a young age. He comes to Earth, with his weaker partner Nappa, after Radditz was killed there, in serach of the Dragonballs. Here, he is defeated by Goku, but Goku lets him live. Later on, he meets up again with Gohan and Kuririn. Being the price of saiyans, he is filled with an almost disturbing pride. After being defeated by Goku or Kakarott as Vegita calls him, he never lives it down. Throughout the series, he is a unusual ally, thats whole mission is to outdo Goku, and to become a Super Saiyan. Later in the show, he surprizingly becomes friends with the Eath warriors or z warriors, and marries Bulma. He goes on to have 2 kids, Trunks and Bra. He also gets posessed by Babi-di, and becomes Majin Vejita. In DBGT, he becomes posessed by Bibie and becomes Bibie Vegita. He fuses with Goku to form Gojita and Vegitto. |
| Future Trunks: In the Mirai Trunks' timeline, Goku gets a really bad heart disease and dies from it. then, when Androids 17 and 18 attack the earth, all the Z fightersdie in the battle. Only Gohan and Trunks are left to fight for the earth, Gohan later dies after a quick battle with the Androids. Trunks finds Gohan dead in the rain, and the that pushes his pissed like a Super Saiyan button, and he just snaps and turns into a ssj for the first time. He attempts to fight the Andriods, but gets beatin down. After he gets better however, he goes back in time, with Bulma's time machine, and brings with him the heart curing medicine. In going back in time however, he created a new time line, the time line that DBZ takes place in. He gives Goku the time medicine, and tells them of the androids that are coming. He goes back then, and comes back in the Cell sage. After the Z fighters defeat Cell, Trunks goes back to his time line again and defeats Cell there. |
| Chibi Trunks: Chibi Trunks, is the Trunks we see during the Majin Buu sage, and thruoghout the rest of Z and GT. He is best friends with Goten, and he goes Super Saiyan at the young age of 8, which surprises everyone big time, just as Goten did. He suposuvely marries Pan, and they have Goku Jr. He can fuse with Goten to form Gotenks. |
| Piccolo: In the regular DB, Piccolo was arch enemies with Goku, becuz of a few reason, Goku killed King Piccolo and which was him in the past, Goku was stronger then him for another reason and thats two. In DBZ however, after becoming close friends with Gohan, he fights along side with the Z fighters and Goku. As the series goes on, he becomes closer friends with all the Z team, and like Vegita, eventually becomes good friend with the whole team. Piccolo defeated Radditz and killed Goku in the process. |
| Krillen: Krillen, Trains along side with Goku under Master Roshi in DBZ. As they continue to train, thye become the best of firends. Krillen, althuogh considered weak compared to Saiyans, is the strongets human.He always seems to get hurt badly in the battles, but he tries his best. Krillen later gets married to an Android, Android 18. Krillen and 18 have Marron, there daughter. Krillen can fuse with Piccolo to form Kricolo. |
| Yamucha: Yamucha doesn't have a Major role in DBZ, but he has a desent role in the DB. He is originally a "Desert Bandit" and he wants to get the Dragonballs so he can wish that he wasn't afraid of girls. Then he meets Goku and Bulma, him and Bulma get together, etc. In DBZ he dies against a Saibaiman, and he fights brefly against Android 20. |
| Tenshinhan: He is the sencond strongest human after krillen. He also does not have a big role in DBZ, mostly in DB. He is at one point, equal to Goku in strenght, exactly. He has really good techniques, like the "Taiyoken". The only time he does anything in the later part of the series, is saving Dende from a blast fired by Super Buu. He is also Chao-zu's body gaurd. |
| Chao-zu: Ok, I sorda duno much about this brat that has over done himself with makeup. I think hes Tenshihan's lil bitch, which is more suitable for him. He does nothing that is really a help in the series other then get in the way. The only thing that he does its try to kill Nappa by killing himself which didn't help anyone becuz Nappa was unphased by that attack. He has no good moves what so ever. |
| Ubuu: Ubuu is the good reincarnation of Majin Buu. He is first seen at the end of DBZ at the Tenkaichi Budoukai. He is very scared, But Goku can tell he is very strong. When they fight in the Budoukai, Ubuu actually leans how to fight as the fight goes along, then Goku goes off with him to train him. Goku tells him that he will be the one to protect the Earth in the future. |
| Master Roshi: The invincible old perverted Turtle master. He dosn't play a big role in DBZ either, but in DB he is a majot. he is the one that originally trains Goku and Krillen, and he competes in the Tenkai-ichi Budoukai as "Jackie Chun"/ he is the inventor of the Kamehameha, and was at one point, the strongest man alive. He is actually inmortal and hes probly gonna be the one training the future protecters of Earth later on when all the Z fighters we know will die. |
| Chi-chi: Goku's wife, mother of Gohan and Goten. She originally is a fighter, belive it or not. In DBZ she is just a mother that is kinda annoying but dont get her mad she still can fight. She don't let poor Gohan do anything but hit the books, but get this...she lets Goten do anything he pleases and even when he and Trunks get into truble she says its ok. |
| Bulma: Bulma is the second character we see in DB, after Goku. she is a sluffy teen looking for the Dragonballs. She meets up with Yamucha and goes out with him for awhile. Thruoghout the whole series, including Z and GT at times, she is brains of the good guys. She is the head of Capsule Corparations. She accpanies Gohan and Krillen to Namek, she later makes the major Brute Ray while under the control of Bibie Vegita and shoots Goku with it making him grow his tail back and she also shoots Bibie Vegita with the ray. those are the only real major things she does. She is wife to Vegita, and mother to Trunks and Bra. |
| Ox-king: Chichi's father, this guy is a huge. He is one of Master Roshi's students, and he was kinda a bad guy when he first appered. He had this huge fortune on "Fire Mountain" or something such as that. He doesn't play a part in DBZ, he really just calms down Chichi when she gets into a big old hissy fit. |
| Kami: God of Earth, he dosn't have ant big roles. In the Non Perfect Cell saga however, he fuses with Pciccolo to become "Kami-collo", becuz they need the the strenght and wisdom. Dende after Kami is merged with Piccolo, Dende takes the job of the gaurden of Earth. |
| Dende: Dende was once just a normal namek boy but since Furiza whent to Namek to make his evil wish, she has been difrent ever since. He takes Kami's place as gaurden of Earth and keeps the place in check. He has a really good healing move which is great in a stickly situation, but plays no big role in DBZ or GT. |
| Mr. Popo: He is Kami and Dende's asistant. He never really fights, But is seen Thuoghtout DBZ, Mr. Popo dosn't have that great moves or anything and he plays no big of a role in DBZ. |
| Kaiou-shin: There were oricoinally 5 Kaiou-shins, including 1 Dai-Kaiou-shin. After fighting with Majin Buu however, this is only left. He is ruler of the entire universe. We see him in the Buu saga, he is strong, but not compared to the Saiyans that we know. Later in the series he fuses with Kibit with the Pantara Earings. |
| Rou-Kaioshin: He is the old Kaiou-shin, 15 generations back, that we see come out of the broken Zet sword. He gives his life so Goku can have it. |
| Kaio-same: One of the 5 Kaiou's, including the Dai Kaiou. he is the one that teachs Goku the Kaio-ken, and the Genji Dama(Spirit Bomb). He is the owner of Bubble and Gregory, and his planet was blown up when Goku Shunkan Idou'ed(Teliported) Cell onto it. He often sublimmnaly talks to Goku, and he is vert cautious, not expecting or wanting Goku to get fights with a powerful people and win. In the Furiza saga he also Trains Tenhinhan, Yamucha, and Piccolo and Choa-zu. He also has very bad jokes but sometimes has a good one or two. He plays a desent role in DBZ. |
| Yajirobe: He was strong in DB, like so many others, but he gets outdone. In the Vegita fight, he saves the day by cutting off Oozaru Vegita's tail. That is the last major thing he does in the series. He is also sorda the Senzu Beans deliverer. He was sorda a bad in the DB but changed. He only played a good role in DB. |
| Karin: A lilttle white cat, that lives on Karin tower. He is actually kinda strong, in a way. In DBZ he dosn't play a major role, but he is the one who grows all the Senzu beans which the Z fighters always seem to need in a desperate situation. |
| Mr. Satan: The loser of human that took credit for beating Cell. This mad him a hero. He was the champion of the Tenkai-chi Budoukai, after bribing people like Android 18 to lose. In the Buu saga, he find out the people that beat Cell are still alive, and he finds out all those moves weren't just "trinks". He becomes friends with the Z fighters, but he always thinks he is strong. he is also very scared, of like everything lol. |
| Videl: Wife of Gohan, she meets him at their high school. She is first to find out that he is the Great Saiya-man. She is the strongest human, besides the people in the Z team. She is far stronger then her father, Mr. Satan, and she eventually has one child, Pan. |
| Pan: Pan is Gohans and Videl's daughter, she is only 4 years old at the end of DBZ. We see her alot in GT. she is very strong, infact she is the strongest female in GT, but sadly she never goes ssj. |
