Life or Death

Guardian Angel Series
It was the best day of Sierra's life.  It was Avenue High's Hollywood dance.  The costuming for the dance was easy enough, dressing up as your favorite T.V. star.  Sierra was searching frantically for a Hollywood dress in her closet.  She had been doing a closet raid for the last 30 minutes.  She wanted to look perfect for her boyfriend Jacob.
Sierra was a cute 16-year-old girl.  All the boys fell for her.  Sometimes she hated it, but most of the time she didn't mind flirting back.  That was until she got Jacob as her boyfriend.  Sierra had red hair, and always wore cute blouses with shorts to school.  She had freckles all over her face.  Being a red head she got freckles easily.
Finally Sierra had taken every bit of cloth out of her closet.  She looked at the last one in the closet.
"It's perfect!" She muttered to herself.  She tried it on and it fit.  Sierra decided she was going to look like Monica the angel.  She brushed her hair and put it into two braids.  She smiled to herself in the mirror, "Jacob will love it!"
One look at Sierra and you would think her family was perfect.  Sierra had a secret, though.  Her life wasn't really the way it appeared.  She had lost her father a year ago in a car wreck.  Her mom was dating men that Sierra never liked.  When Sierras mom started thinking it was the guy for her the guy would break up with her.  There were always many reasons but most of the time it was just because the guy didn't like Sierra.  This made Sierra think that love wasn't real.  Sierra had been to countless therapists, but they never helped.
Sierra was done getting ready for her dance, and she looked wonderful.  She called her mom and told her where she was going to be.  Then she grabbed $5.00, and drove to the dance.  Jacob was there waiting for her, just like he promised.

Sierra and Jacob stepped in line to get into the dance.  Mras Crabapple was taking the money.
"Oh Great." Jacob  groaned.
Sierra looked at him helplessly.
Mrs Crabapple was the teacher who took Vickys spot when Vicky died.  She always played favorites.  Sometimes Sierra got the feeling that she was loathed bye Mrs Crabaple.  Usually when Sierra was in Mrs. Crabapple's class she was the one who was humiliated and laughed at by the teacher.  The reason being was because Sierra used to have a crush on Mrs. Crabapples son.
"Hi Mrs. Crabapple."  Sierra said to her in a hopefully cheerful voice.
"Hi." Said Mrs. Crabapple.
Then she paused.  Sierra was literally almost dragging Jacob away to get on the dance floor.
"Jacob dear..." Mrs.  Crabapple continued, "I do feel sorry for you.  Who knows Sierra just might be cheating on you with my son."
Sierra looked down and listened to all the laughter around her.  Instead of going to the dance floor she ran to the bathroom and cried.
That was horrible, she thought to herself.
When she was done crying she stepped out of the bathroom and went to the dance.

Before Sierra stopped having fun the dance had ended.  Everyone was booing and also begging for jjust one more song.  Sierra was with them, but Mrs.  Crabapple came in at 2:00 to tell them the dance was over.  Nobody wanted to argue with Mrs. Crabapple.
Jacob came up to Sierra after the dance, "Can I...uh...talk to you for a minute?"
Something in his expression made Sierra think that she needed to talk to him a.s.a.p.  She looked at him and made sure they were far away from Mrs. Crabapples ear and eyesight.
"Whats up?" Sierra asked worriedly.
"I think...that I....need to break up with you."
