Hello and welcome to Lil Acorns!
My name is Mrs. Sasha! I am very
excited to intoduce you to myself
and the type of program I can offer
you and your family.
Let me first start by telling you a little about my background. My mother operates a home childcare and has been doing it since I was first born. I grew up helping her with the younger children. It is from her that I developed the love of teaching. Throughout high school I worked as an assistant in her preschool program. I also took a part time position as a preschool teacher in the Extended Day Program for the Litchfield Elementary School District. There, I was in charge of 19 preschoolers daily. After a year I was promoted to assistant manager and helped in the supervision 8 employees and 100+ students. I received extensive training in child growth and behavior and also received my cpr/ first aid certification and fingerprint card.
After the birth of my second son, I decided to open my own home childcare. Sadly, I had to close due to pregnancy complications with my 3rd child. But I am very excited to finally be opening my doors again and to be teaching a wonderful preschool curicculum.
My Philosophy
I believe that children learn best while having fun! We get goofy singing songs and doing hands on learning projects.
My Motto: "From one little acorn, a mighty oak tree will grow"
I see potential in every child no matter their age or size. The biggest oak trees came from tiny little acorns. If we work together to care, love and teach our children then they too with grow to be great and mighty!
