The History of Chicken:

Chicken is a real American survivor. I bought her when she was 6-weeks old. My mother strongly opposed of any types of four-legged creatures, especially dogs. She forced me to re-sell Chicken. However, a few days later we realized that she not only had fleas and worms, but she was becoming extremely sick, vomitting, and diarrheaing. She was in terrible condition.  It turned out, she was diagnosed with a deadly disease, known as PARVO. Chicken was hospitalized for several days on IV. My mom's heart softened after that incident; she even helped pay for the over-priced vet bills. Thank god she made it alive. She's a remarkably strong dog, my little survivor. Now she is healthy, energized, and not to mention, a bratty-ass little dog!

Chicken's #2 Encounter with Death:

chicken stood face to face with death for the second time. it was summer of 2003, we let her out in the backyard to run around. we had done this numerous times. but this time, as my mom looked out the kitchen window, she saw that chicken was limping, as if she has lost her strength to even stand. by the time we brought her into the house, she was crawling and drooling. soon enough, it seemed as if her entire body was paralyzed. chicken was immediately rushed to the nearest vet. after some shoots and x-rays, the dr. concluded that chicken might have swallowed some rat poison or anything along that line during her trip in the backyard. he said, if we had brought chicken in any later, her heart would have stopped beating ~

close call wasn't it ?

little chicken milked me dry... my savings over the summer went to her absurdly expensive medical bill.

keep your fingers crossed, pray nothing happens to my poor dog !!!
