ABOUT TONI
I have been a resident of Michigan for quite a few years. In between my job as a Personal Trainer
and my writing, I love to do theatre. I serve on the board of my theatre group as well as perform. I
must admit since my singing leaves much to be desired, most of my roles are relegated to dancing.
I also fancy myself am extremely amateur photographer as well as a clothes, shoes, and accessory addict.
I love writing and have been writing since I was eleven, but only in recent years did I seek to get
published.
INTERVIEW
- Many authors are pairing up, have you ever considered doing that.
- I see that authors do that. I think its great to find someone with the same writing style.i
Perhaps, if I found an author that I felt our voices were in sync, yes I would.
- You are a Personal Trainer and an Author. Is there some profession you would have liked to do if not those?
- I do love designing clothes and furniture. I can see myself in the future doing those things, even if its
only a personal thing.
- Can you give us a sneak preview of any upcoming works?
- Right now I am finishing up the last part of my trilogy for my Bloodlines series with Liquid Silver Books.
Then I start on another installment of my Scions of the Ankh series with Siren Publishing.
- Many authors have rituals when they write, care to share any of yours?
- Well, first of all I have to have a content belly so I always eat first. Always low melodic music to relax me.
Maybe a glass of merlot when the scenes need to get hot.
- Is it safe to assume that since you write romance, that your taste in movies is romantic?
- Oddly enough, I am not into romantic movies, unless its a romantic comedy and then only with my absolute
favorite actors. I love horror movies and nothing beats a zombie movie.
- Do you ever read your own work, and later wished you wrote the scene differently?
- All. The. Time. But thats only because my mind reworks everything. Even my favorite books, movies, etc.
are victims. I always do a what if no matter how happy I am with any type of art.
- Do you have a favorite story or character that you created?
- I would have to say I love all my stories. But for some reason my character Virk from my Lure of the
Cimmerions series took on a life of his own. It was like he wrote himself and I was merely the instrument
to deliver his story.
- One thing about romance is trying to keep the sex fresh from book to book. What do you do for inspiration?
- Well I draw off my own fantasies. Then of course theres the actual grunt work of reading and watching porn.
Listening to my friends, sex bibles and encyclopedias. My reference books are quite an interesting array.
