THANKS
This is the really soppy bit where I decide (Sam) that just before embarking on the biggest turning point of my life, I would like to thank everyone who has shaped it so far. This will double as my  acceptence speach for any major awards i win in the future (got to plan ahead) so if you read them now you wont need to listen at the ceremony for the outstanding life time achievement award that i am bound to recieve sooner or later, heck who can say the have done this much for human-playstation relations before the age of 19.
THE FAMILY
I feel the need to put down in words just how thankfull I am for the family I am part of (don't throw up just yet), I am so lucky to have parents who strive tirelessly to provide for me, to have three sisters who make a mockery of even the most cutting problems that may have affected me in the past and to have a wider family that is so close and supportive that when we all get togeather  a kind of untouchable zone is formed of safety, humour and relaxation. I suppose this is what families are for but I am very grateful all the same and wonder if I have ever stated it clearly enough.
THE MATES
Not quite as emotional perhaps but just as important to me is to thank my buds for what i suppose is just going through things at the same time as me. No theres more to it than that, at this point when a traditional solid group of friends start to head in different directions i want to express my thanks towards them all for being a dapper bunch (though they will rip the piss out of me for writing this). Certain influences have helped me throughout our time togeather in Stanwell and for some Evenlode. Thankyou John, for your calming influence and helping me get 10s on those spelling tests( he didn't know it at the time), Mike for you low nonsense look at life and the points of view that would never occur to me, Nick for helping me win arguements except when they were with you and for tirelessly ripping the piss out of teachers (go get those Oxford lecturers), Rhys for always being there even when he is in Manchester and Dave for being a nutter and coming to south america.
Don't think you are a losser if I have not mention you these five are my oldest buddys, but there are many more all of whom have had some kind of affect on me and come to think of all of whom i have dirt on, SO DON'T MESS. p.s these are not goodbyes
THE GIRL
If you are not cleaning sick of your keypad with detol yet, you will be very soon. No, in all seriousness I have to express my thanks to Annelies for an absolutly wicked past two and a something years, in which i have experienced something I have never had before (emotional involvment if that needed clarifying). It was great to have you there for me whenever I needed you and to be there in return, for you. Again this is not to say this will end or this is a goodbye, simply that I wanted to make clear how grateful  I am to have spent this time with you.
AFTERMATH
Whoa there, that was a bit serious wasn't it. Please send an email out-lineing exactly how many times you vomit and i will send you a complimentary detol and locazade luxury hamper. These are not goodbyes. My apologies again for that unacceptable outburst of emotion now get back to the good stuff.
