| TURNING OFF THE COMPRESSED GRAPHICS FUNCTION 1. Go to the "Settings" logo at the top of your AOL screen. 2. Select "Preferences" from the drop-down list. 3. Click on "Internet Properties (WWW)" from the list under the heading 'Organization' to the left of the screen. 4. Select "Web Graphics" from the tabs at the top of the box. 5. Check the circle that says "Never Compress Graphics." 6. Click OK With the compressed graphics function turned off, most pages will take a little longer to load, so you will have to be patient, but the pictures on websites will be much clearer. If at any time or for any reason you want to change back to the compressed grasphics function, follow these steps again, but instead of selecting "Never Compress Graphics" in step 5, choose your prior setting instead. |
