In order to grasp the concept of how energy interplay works, we need to understand what constitutes the soul, the spirit, and the ego. Other words or phrases such as inner being, essence, essence self, higher mind, higher self are usually different words to describe the above three aspects of our being. If we can comprehend what the soul, the spirit and the ego are all about, we can better understand how each works on an energy level, and how illness or imbalances occur. However, there is a lot of controversy and differences of opinion on how to describe these three aspects of our being in an accurate manner in which all are comfortable with. There is a lot of confusion when people endeavour to list what each aspect entails, or where one takes over and where the other one ends. I have searched for a way which best describes each aspect although I am sure to leave something out! Feel free to add your own understanding of their working! Perhaps their fluidity accounts for seeming overlaps perhaps this is indeed the way they are ever overlapping or like three images in one. A little like the art of papertole except that our three aspects are can be seen through each other not just the edges. Indeed it seems that they are separate yet not separate; layers - yet as one. The Soul My understanding of the soul is that it is the piece of the Divine Whole that resides in each of us. It is that which connects you even though you may have the illusion that you are separate. It is both our connection to the Divine Source and is the Divine Source. We are a piece of the whole and thus can never be separated or lost. We are all part of the Divine Source. There are many names by which this source is called including God, God Source, the Divine, Universal Consciousness, Creation Energy etc Feel free to call it by whatever name you choose to know it by but understand that when we speak these names, that we are speaking about the same thing. Allow others to give whatever name they feel comfortable, when talking of such things. The separation is an illusion as our souls cannot be separated from the Divine Source for how can you separate something from itself? When we understand this from an energy point of view, we know that the packaging of the energy may be changed, but the material or content stays the same. Remember the phrase ashes to ashes and dust to dust symbolising that everything returns to its original form? Well, it is the same for divine energy once divine energy, always divine energy no matter how you dress it up! It does not matter how vast or how far or infinite the energy is. For want of a better image it is a little like a giant octopus with an infinite number of legs all waving out there. Legs that may be metres long yet still connected. My father, who was an Anglican minister, used to say that there was a small piece of God inside all of us. I believe he meant the same thing as I am trying to explain here. One of his colleagues went so far as to say that each of us is a God because of the divinity within us. The church hierarchy of the time were not impressed! We are part of all that is sacred and divine and all that is sacred and divine is part of us. Our soul holds all that we are. It holds all memories and knowledge from everything we have experienced. Every experience, every lesson, every piece of wisdom we have gained is embodied in our soul or perhaps it would be more correct to say that our soul is the sum total of ourself. It is our true self in pure form. It holds all the knowledge and wisdom we need to answer our questions. The soul remains the constant factor during our many lifetimes and the various personalities and characters that we take on. Yet each experience of living, in whatever form we choose to take, enriches and expands our soul. So we grow and evolve with each life no matter what form we take or what level or dimension we choose for Earth is not the only plane in which we learn and grow. Yet we may then ponder do we learn anew or do we reconnect and experience wisdom on another level? Do we experience different dimensions of our wisdom? Do we open different facets and a deeper understanding of what we already know on a soul level? Our soul is always growing, evolving, learning and experiencing in multi-dimensional form. Our experience of dimensional possibilities is limited in our human form and grasping of this kind of concept may be challenging but open your minds and it can be done! This raises other questions such as what wisdom do we seek? Do we come to learn lessons about the shadows materialism, greed, hate, racism, jealousy, conceit and so on and so forth? Do we come to learn about the essence of light and how we can bring it closer, live it, embrace it, see it change situations, people, places etc? If we dont learn these things first off, do we have to come back again and again until we get it right? Is there a Universal Law written that says we have to come back and experience these things so that we benefit at soul level? Are the experiences and challenges we have, keys that unlock knowledge within our souls? How does free will affect us? CONTINUED......................... |
