Red XIII is a strange specimen held captive by Hojo and others at Shinra. Hojo truthfully calls him the last of his kind. Red XIII is a native to the Cosmo Canyon area. His real name is Nanaki. He is proud of his mother, but when it comes to his father, he is full of shame. This is because when the dreaded Gi tribe attacked, Seto, his father, ran away.

Just as his name implies, he is an animal with fire-red fur. But under his fierce exterior is an intelligence surpassing that of any human. His sharp claws and fangs make him good at close range fighting, but other than that, not much is known about him. It's not even certain that Rex XIII is his real name. A real enigma. |

Personal Opinion: Red XIII is one of the best characters to use, but I found myself not using him when I didn't have to. |
