To begin with born again Christians are strengthened in trials, tribulations but the plan to of the enemy is not for our strength but to for our destruction. God says that he will never leave us or forsake us. He says that we can never be separated from his love. We can separate ourselves from him, as I've done in many times past. under the tribulation I was simply back down and give up. But the Bible says we are more than conquerors! If we are more than conquerors then we have to conquer something. A conqueror overcomes, subdues and possesses what he/she conquerors. A conqueror is not to in the defensive position attempting survival but is pushing forward and taking over and taking control of all his/ her conquest. Therefore, the Christian church is to be a radical movement for the goodness of God's Glory in the earth. We don't fight with guns and swords, but are sword is the word of God Almighty which is the infallible scriptures written in the 66 books of the Bible. We can depend on the fact that God has chosen his word to be written by the hand of the Holy spirit and delivered in into the hearts of men and women throughout the ages.

King Hezekiah Surrounded by an Enemy.
Romans 8:33-39 MKJV  Who shall lay anything to the charge of God's elect? It is God who justifies.  (34)  Who is he condemning? It is Christ who has died, but rather also who is raised, who is also at the right hand of God, who also intercedes for us.  (35)  Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?  (36)  As it is written, "For Your sake we are killed all the day long. We are counted as sheep of slaughter."  (37)  But in all these things we more than conquer through Him who loved us.  (38)  For I am persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,  (39)  nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
John 12:24-26 MKJV Truly, truly, I say to you, Unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it abides alone; but if it dies, it brings forth much fruit.  (25)  He who loves his life shall lose it. And he who hates his life in this world shall keep it to life eternal.  (26)  If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there also My servant shall be. If anyone serves Me, the Father will honor him.
King Hezekiah, was just an upright man, had a heart that desired to see God's will complete in Judah. He restored Jerusalem did away with all the idols and false god's and restored morality. He was a man the hated evil and loved God. A man of integrity of man of faith and man that could not be moved by his circumstances nor was he willing to accept defeat. He expected God to honor all of his covenants and defend his word. If all Christians in America, were consider God has a solution for every situation and every circumstance regardless of how imminent defeat appears. Their would be no enemy or adversary that would be able to stand up and any perpetration against any of the children of God. The real failure in the churches now is, lack of love for one another. The inability of many Christians to draw together and nurse that which is wounded. And to restore that which is been taken by a means of force, by the enemy.
2 Ch 29:2 And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD, according to all that David his father had done.
2Ch 29:3 He in the first year of his reign, in the first month, opened the doors of the house of the LORD, and repaired them.
2Ch 29:10 Now it is in mine heart to make a covenant with the LORD God of Israel, that his fierce wrath may turn away from us.
2 Ch 29:30 Moreover
Hezekiah the king and the princes commanded the Levites to sing praise unto the LORD with the words of David, and of Asaph the seer. And they sang praises with gladness, and they bowed their heads and worshipped.
He was later besieged by the King of Assyria, (a composite of the devil) who had utterly mocked God, in his own deception and tried to make the people believe that he himself was greater than God. The people gathered around Hezekiah, and began to believe what the king of Assyria was saying rather than the covenants there were established in David. Moreover, the psalm are praises to God through God! When one begins to praise the Lord citing the wotd og God especially the Psalms and worship Him in truth, then the Lord will dispatach all of power you will need to overcome whatever trial you are in. One particular Psalm speaks of an everlasting covenant the God is established with David his Chosen one, Holy One (Jesus Christ) and his seed.
Psalms 89:2-7 MKJV For I have said, Mercy shall be built up forever; You shall establish Your faithfulness in the heavens.  (3)  I have cut a covenant with My chosen; I have sworn to David My servant,  (4)  Your seed will I establish forever, and build up your throne to all generations. Selah.  (5)  And the heavens shall praise Your wonders, O Jehovah, Your faithfulness also in the congregation of the saints.  (6)  For who in the sky can be ranked with Jehovah? Who among the mighty is like Jehovah?  (7)  God is greatly to be feared in the congregation of the saints, and to be adored by all around Him.
Psalms 89:14-37 MKJV Justice and judgment are the foundation of Your throne; mercy and truth shall go before Your face.  (15)  Blessed is the people that knows the joyful sound; they shall walk, O Jehovah, in the light of Your face.  (16)  In Your name they shall rejoice all the day; and in Your righteousness they shall be lifted up.  (17)  For You are the glory of their strength; and in Your favor our horn shall be lifted up.  (18)  For Jehovah is our shield; yea, our King is the Holy One of Israel.  (19)  Then You spoke in a vision to Your holy one, and You said, I have laid help on a mighty one; I have lifted up a chosen one out of the people.  (20)  I have found David, My servant; with My holy oil I have anointed him.  (21)  My hand shall be always with him; My arm also shall make him strong.  (22)  The enemy shall not use force on him, nor the son of wickedness afflict him.  (23)  And I will beat down his foes before his face, and plague those who hate him. (24)  But My faithfulness and My mercy shall be with him; and in My name his horn shall be lifted up.  (25)  I will set his hand also in the sea, and his right hand in the rivers.  (26)  He shall cry to Me, My Father, You are my God, and the rock of my salvation.  (27)  And I will make him My first-born, higher than the kings of the earth. (28)  I will keep My mercy for him forever, and My covenant shall stand fast with him.  (29)  Also I have set his seed forever, and his throne as the days of the heavens.  (30)  If his children forsake My Law, and do not walk in My judgments;  (31)  if they profane My Precepts, and do not keep My Commandments;  (32)  then I will visit their wickedness with the rod, and their sin with stripes.  (33) But I will not completely take My loving-kindness from him, and I will not be false in My faithfulness. (34)  I will not break My covenant, nor change the thing that has gone out of My lips.  (35)  Once I have sworn by My holiness that I will not lie to David.  (36)  His seed shall endure forever, and his throne as the sun before Me.  (37)  It shall be established forever like the moon, and like a faithful witness in the heavens. Selah.
When I was a tractor trailer driver, I was  in Denver, Colorado waiting for my tractor to be repaired of all the exhaust leaks. I knew that I had a lot of problems coming from The trucking Co. I worked for, because I had gone to the DOT to ensure that my truck was repaired properly. God reminded me this Psalm 89 and assured me that the situation I was in was no different that any other situation and in the end that regardless of how it appears; it is going to turn out in my favor, I will see to it that no one will defeat you. Onthe promise of His word I was convinced, that when I got to to the company there was no way that they would have a victory over me. Well didn't look that way, in fact it appeared that they are able to literally destroy me. So even when they black-balled so I couldn't  get a job, I had nothing to fear. Nevertheless no matter what I seemed to be doing about these kind of troubles,  it would seem to turn out like a big failure. I got the devil on one hand telling me that I'm being punished for all my sins. Even ones I had been forgiven of.  Moreover, my circumstances make it appear that God is against me and trusting him is my own foolishness and depression. And on and on day and night one attack after the next and one disapointment after the next. All the while I was expecting some big supernatural break-through. None would come just more condemnation and more disapointment. Faith is never refined in still waters, neither does dry ground reap anything. Hope is sowed in dry ground and watered by many storms,  after a season of patience the faith is harvested. Needless to say I have not gone one day since without my needs met and those whom persecuted me are left in the hand of God. I pray His mercy ont hem even as he  he has mercy on me.
I have been humiliated, lied about and without a bit of consideration of the truth. I believe, that this is a direct result of attempting to fulfill the will of God in my life. I do not believe and will not believe ever again that stupid lie that have swallowed so many times before. Satan, is not very creative his lies are always the same lies, the circumstances are usually very similar, the devil always questions the word of God. He or always offer you a better alternative than the situation that you are in as a means of survival. Furthermore, he always puts before you you're in the nest necessity for the basic needs of life food clothing the shelter. Jesus said " don't even worry about don't even take a thought in saying what shall we what shall we wear."  Moreover, Jesus said that a sparrow does not fall to the ground without the Father noticing, that we're much more than a sparrow in the eyes of God. Jesus then said "that even (non-Christians) or Gentiles seek these things. "But first seek that Kingdom of Heaven and all of its righteousness and these things shall be added to you."  So that's is the order of business is to seek first the Kingdom of Heaven and its righteousness. I do know that one thing for sure it is that no matter what happens, God will never leave me or for forsake me.
King Hezekiah, an upright man before God is now surrounded by his enemies and as heard from God concerning his enemies and yet his enemies persist and putting pressure on king Hezekiah especially where his peers are concerned and the people that Hezekiah ruled. Through much patience and trusting in God Hezekiah was vindicated and exalted before God and and God is exalted in the victory. But it wasn't until the circumstances got to the point of being unbearable that God had really came into the picture and took up the fight. When God took up the fight I would traded places any day with Hezekiah rather than to be in the shoes of the king of Assyria because his end was a lot worse than the siege that Hezekiah had overcome. It never pays to give in, to desperation or the what the devil would use for temptation. Jesus was in the desert for 40 days without any food fasting and during that time Satan, came to him and questioned his position as The Son of God, the fact of the matter is that Jesus being born both of the woman and the Spirit of God, would establish him as both Son of God and Son of Man. That is what a born again Christian is also, born of flesh and reborn by the Holy Ghost.
Jesus did not answer the devil with that knowledge He simply said :
"It is written man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God" Deuteronomy 8:3 The devil was tempting him with a very natural need for survival which was food. The devil did not moved in to tempt Jesus, until Jesus was that his weakest moment in his flesh. He tempted him, the something that was normal, not sin but a necessity for life. Jesus, resisted him by quoting the word God. He didn't come out with an alternate plan are any suggestions. He simply defended the word of God his position with God only with the written word of God. He didn't explain to the devil that 40 days ago I was down in the river Jordan getting babtized  and didn't you hear the voice, out of Heaven that said;  This is My  beloved Son in whom I am well pleased? Instead he said  "it is written."  Matthew 3:17 The written word of God is more powerful than your mind can even reason. Jesus had no doubt whatsoever where he stood, with God never questioning the will.  Jesus never once doubted or those he called.  He also knew exactly how Satan and his followers stood with God. It was Satan that wasn't sure and doubtful as to who Jesus really was, trying to tempt the Lord into the same doubt he has. Even to this day Satan knows his days are short and he still refuses to except that not only, is Jesus Lord but is also God made flesh. Nevertheless he shall bow and confess that Jesus Is Lord!
The devil's answers to most peoples tribulations and trials, are a lot like what King Hezekiah heard with during what appeared to be imminent destruction, even as the king of Assyria threatened the inhabitants of Jerusalem with their lives and were shall total degradation and humiliation. God made his promise in his covenant with David for all of Israel. Moreover,  in statements established in 89 Psalm is for his Holy One, his chosen, which is Jesus Christ and the seed which is every born-again believer that has received Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior .Jesus, poured out his Blood and established the covenant that God cannot lie nor break his promise to Jesus, nor can he reject anyone that is willing to trust in Jesus. That is a promise of God, that is absolutely worthy to the unquestionable integrity of God Almighty. The fact is Jesus befotre he was crucified he established his covenant based on faith alone not according to any works of our own.  In John 17:1-5 MKJV Jesus spoke these words and lifted up His eyes to Heaven and said, "Father, the hour has come. Glorify Your Son so that Your Son also may glorify You,  (2)  even as You have given Him authority over all flesh so that He should give eternal life to all You have given Him.  (3)  And this is life eternal, that they might know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent. (4)  I have glorified You upon the earth. I have finished the work which You have given Me to do."  (5)  And now Father, glorify Me with Yourself with the glory which I had with You before the world was." This so important to know that Jesus was with the Father before the world was created that He held the highest Glory and esteem in Heaven. Moreover, you need to take the understanding that He was establishing his last will and testament of the Covenant that was soon to be sealed in His Blood on the cross. In John 17:19-24 MKJV again Jesus said:  "I sanctify Myself for their sakes, so that they also might be sanctified in truth.  (20)  And I do not pray for these alone, but for those also *who (*any follower trusting in Jesus Christ) in  shall believe on Me through *their word, (*speaking of the twelve Diciples and the New Testament Bible) (21)  that *they (*Christians) all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You, that *they (*any follower trusting in Jesus Christ) also may be one in Us, so that the world may believe that You have sent Me.  (22)  And I have given them the *glory (* this is the same glory tht is refered to in verses 1,2,3 pf this chapter) which You have given Me, that they may be one, even as We are one, (23)  I in them, and You in Me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that You have sent Me and have loved them as You have loved Me.  (24)  Father, I desire that those whom You have given Me, that they may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which You have given Me, for You have loved Me before the foundation of the world. Verse 23 sums it up anyone regardles of background, race, sex, or sins are made perfect by his Blood that was poured out . Moreover, we are loved not one iota less than Jesus Christ. Aboslutely, I mean absoutely once a person has been born again by the Blood of Jesus can be rejected by God and this strong Covenant is everlasting in which God is unable by his word to repent of. This Covenant is the Last Will and Testament of Jesus in which He made The Holy Spirit executor, of His Estate in which all that hold steadfast to the Lord Jesus will be partakers of all his Glory and walk in His Divine presence. There is only one way to possible to be rejected of god; that is to reject reject this one plan and that is revealed to all by the Holy Spirit. There is no sin too great or small except to reject the Holy Spirit. Once aperson is "Born Again" a seal is placed on that person and cannot be removed by God or Jesus only by that person by utterly in disgust rejects or blaspheme the Holy Spirit or the work of the Holy Spirit! Such as Ananias, and his Sapphira did and conspired to decieve the Holy Spirit. Acts 5:1-10 All too often some equate this with those things that are done or said out of ignorance or worldly nature; that somehow God hold that person accountible and reject his or her repentance. I assure you that if you was never a christian or you was involved in a religious organization that slandered the Holy Spirit you need not be concerned of that since we are only as cHristians accountable to the Holy Spirit. Also be assured that sin and blaspheme of the Holy Spirit are quite differrent. As a born again Christian you would have to know the depth and magnitude in its entirety knowingly conspire to blaspheme the Holy Spirit or His work. People that are in bondage to addictions and other works of the flesh, such as sexual immorality  and so on will seek deliverance and have a great sense of remorse unlike the unreedeemed, whom does whatever serves themselve best. If it was possible to mock the Holy Spirit before the cross then neither Paul or even those that were once into witchcraft and idolitry could have been saved in the first Christian church. We see that even the unbelievers around Hezekiah due to his faithfulness. We too are able to lay hold on salvation due to Jesus' faithfulness.
But Rabshakeh said unto them, Hath my master sent me to thy master, and to thee, to speak these words? hath he not sent me to the men which sit on the wall, that they may eat their own dung, and drink their own piss with you? 2 Kings 18:27 KJV
2 Chronicles 32:7-8 MKJV (7)  Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of the king of Assyria, or for all the multitude with him. For there are more with us than with him.  (8)  With him is an arm of flesh, but with us is Jehovah our God to help us and to fight our battles. And the people rested themselves on the words of Hezekiah king of Judah.
Now that's not the devil what is? Certainly, Hezekiah was surrounded by an army of 200,000 and even in this day and age that is a lot of troops. All natural, circumstances Hezekiah was all washed up. But he was of upright standing with God and a worshiper of the Lord. Nothing is more proper than prayer in times of affliction; it is no ways unbecoming nor lessening the greatest king on earth to lay aside his royal robes, to humble himself before God, in a time of distress, and pray unto him. Hezekiah does not sit down to consider Rabshakeh's speech, to take it to heart, and give an answer to it, but he applies to God; and this is how King Hezekiah confesses to the people concerning their fear and how the people responded:
This Account of King Hezekiah Was  Written By Isaiah; This is What Was Said.
And Eliakim and Shebna and Joah said to the chief of the cupbearers, Please speak to your servants in Aramaic, for we understand it. But do not speak to us in Jewish in the ears of the people on the wall. (12)  But the chief of the cupbearers said, Has my master sent me to your master and to you to speak these words, and not to the men who sit on the wall, that they may eat their own dung and drink their own urine with you? (13)  Then the chief of the cupbearers stood and cried with a loud voice in Jewish, and said, Hear the words of the great king, the king of Assyria.  (14)  So says the king, Do not let Hezekiah deceive you, for he shall not be able to deliver you.  (15)  Nor let Hezekiah make you trust in Jehovah, saying, Jehovah will surely deliver us; this city shall not be delivered into the hands of the king of Assyria. (16)  Do not listen to Hezekiah; for so says the king of Assyria, Make a blessing with me by a present, and come out to me; and let everyone eat of his vine, and everyone of his fig tree, and everyone drink the waters of his own cistern,  (17)  until I come and take you away to a land like your own land, a land of grain and wine, a land of bread and vineyards.  (18)  Let not Hezekiah persuade you, saying, Jehovah will deliver us. Has any of the gods of the nations delivered his land out of the hand of the king of Assyria? (19)  Where are the gods of Hamath and Arpad? Where are the gods of Sepharvaim? And when have they delivered Samaria out of my hand?  (20)  Who among all the gods of these lands have delivered their land out of my hand, that Jehovah should deliver Jerusalem out of my hand?  (21)  But they were silent and did not answer him a word, for the king's command, saying, Do not answer him.  (22)  Then Eliakim the son of Hilkiah, who was over the household, and Shebna the scribe, and Joah the son of Asaph, the recorder, came to Hezekiah with their clothes torn and told him the words of the chief of the cupbearers.Isaiah 36:11-22 MKJV
So this is how I understand it. That is when a person who desires and attempts to accomplish God's righteousness for a nation and has success that enemy will surround them make them believe that you will come to utter destruction. Even as we all fall into trials and temptations, or even great tribulations,  wisdom should  tell a  christian to be patient, standing still in order to let the LORD God Almighty bring to pass a victory that only He is able bring.
This king of Assyria was full of himself and filled with vanity and foolishness, to even  think that he should have a victory over any of God's chosen. He attempted to exalt himself above the most high God.And this is what Hezekiah said the God concerning all of the king of Assyria's statements. the truth is that the devil will without fail attempt to cause a person, a family, an entire church or even an entire nation to believe that he has more power than God. That is to say the least, sadly this same vanity overcomes many in their walk through life,  in the world and in even the church.
Well in fact what happened, Hezekiah simply told God, that this man had set himself above God a had no right to do such and as a declaration of God's power and strength and his very existence that he was not a God of wood or stone, neither is he the result of the work of mans hands. He expected God to give him salvation from the destruction of the king of Assyria so that God would be known as the only God of the earth to all the nations.
As soon as King Hezekiah heard their report, he tore his clothes in grief, put on sackcloth, and went to the Temple of the LORD.  (2)  He sent Eliakim, the official in charge of the palace, Shebna, the court secretary, and the senior priests to the prophet Isaiah son of Amoz. They also were wearing sackcloth.  (3)  This is the message which he told them to give to Isaiah: "Today is a day of suffering; we are being punished and are in disgrace. We are like a woman who is ready to give birth, but is too weak to do it. (4)  The Assyrian emperor has sent his chief official to insult the living God. May the LORD your God hear these insults and punish those who spoke them. So pray to God for those of our people who survive." Isaiah 37:1-4 GNB
When Isaiah received King Hezekiah's message, (6)  he sent back this answer: "The LORD tells you not to let the Assyrians frighten you by their claims that he cannot save you.  (7)  The LORD will cause the emperor to hear a rumor that will make him go back to his own country, and the LORD will have him killed there." (8)  The Assyrian official learned that the emperor had left Lachish and was fighting against the nearby city of Libnah; so he went there to consult him.  (9) Word reached the Assyrians that the Egyptian army, led by King Tirhakah of Ethiopia, was coming to attack them. When the emperor heard this, he sent a letter to King Hezekiah  (10)  of Judah to tell him: "The god you are trusting in has told you that you will not fall into my hands, but don't let that deceive you. (11)  You have heard what an Assyrian emperor does to any country he decides to destroy. Do you think that you can escape?  (12)  My ancestors destroyed the cities of Gozan, Haran, and Rezeph, and killed the people of Betheden who lived in Telassar, and none of their gods could save them.  (13)  Where are the kings of the cities of Hamath, Arpad, Sepharvaim, Hena, and Ivvah?"  (14)  King Hezekiah took the letter from the messengers and read it. Then he went to the Temple, placed the letter there in the presence of the LORD. Isaiah 37:5-14 GNB
Hezekiah did not let his circumstances control his faith nor did he let anyone control him. But he went after God with all his heart and got the victory. We serve, and are family members of the household of God Almighty and sworn in a Blood Covenant with Jesus Christ that cannot be broken, that cannot be changed and is not based on the works of a human hands but established in the righteousness of Jesus Christ. Therefore, no matter what the situation is, or how it stands in against the Christian. We are not to be left, to destruction in the even when all of the evedince, of that situation may appear inevitable failure. God is common in His nature to allow His enemies to stand up and boast and make it appear as there is no possible way for victory and that failure is inevitable. That is His Glory to take persons whom are weak and show Himself strong through them.
Moreover to the king of Assyria made it clear that the worst was yet to come that they would starve to death, and die from thirst. That they would be reduced to something lower than an animal to the extent of eating their own dung, drinking their own urine. That would put you in the class of the mentally deranged. I believe that if Satan can possibly cause in mind to get that defeated he will do it, worse blame it on God or even the person that has fallen victim to him.  He is pure evil there's no good in him therefore his only goal and purpose for the human being is to totally degrade them and humiliate them. If he can use circumstances to cause fear, and get you to respond to that fear then he will be successful. Fear is his only weapon and he extorts all that listen to him. All too often people buckle under the pressure of Satan's extortion when they are right at the threshold of victory.
No matter the situation  that you are in right now, it will result in your success and the failure of the enemy. It  may appear to you,  that the circumstances are set for total failure with the desire for Satan to degrade you to ta low level or even worse than you ever imagine.  I was an on and off Christian all of my life, before I made a real and determined committment in my walk with Jesus beginning in September of 1995. Prior to that time every situation where, at the time I had been circumstances I throw my faith out figuring, that I was not even in the plan of God mainly because of all the other failures that I had especially where women were involved. In those days, I wanted to a relationship with God but I really did not want to get to know him personally for very long. Generally when trouble came, I didn't let God take over. Even worse I somehow thought that God was doing all these things to to me because of my past sins. Instead, I would believe that I was not suited for God's purposes, therefore fall away from my faith. I would return to my old ways, worse I would end the adding more bad habits, more trouble. Continuing to believe a deception that because I had tribulation every time that I would try to do things right for God, that I wasn't suited for his purposes because I was unable to be what religions call Holy. I found out that true Holiness, does not come from the will power of the human mind, but that holiness is a direct result of a relationship with God through Jesus Christ.
King Hezekiah did just that he didn't get down his face the say oh why God why God have you left me into the hands of enemies to destroy my kingdom. Instead he went before God and told him exactly what the king of Assyria was saying about him told him that he needed a victory in order for God to show that he is God no matter what people say.
This is what the prophet Isaiah said to Hezekiah about Sennacherib the king of Assyria:
Then Isaiah sent a message telling King Hezekiah that in answer to the king's prayer  (22)  the LORD had said, "The city of Jerusalem laughs at you, Sennacherib, and makes fun of you.  (23)  Whom do you think you have been insulting and ridiculing? You have been disrespectful to me, the holy God of Israel.  (24)  You sent your servants to boast to me that with all your chariots you had conquered the highest mountains of Lebanon. You boasted that there you cut down the tallest cedars and the finest cypress trees, and that you reached the deepest parts of the forests.  (25)  You boasted that you dug wells and drank water in foreign lands, and that the feet of your soldiers tramped the Nile River dry.  (26)  "Have you never heard that I planned all this long ago? And now I have carried it out. I gave you the power to turn fortified cities into piles of rubble.  (27)  The people who lived there were powerless; they were frightened and stunned. They were like grass in a field or weeds growing on a roof when the hot east wind blasts them.  (28)  "But I know everything about you, what you do and where you go. I know how you rage against me.  (29)  I have received the report of that rage and that pride of yours, and now I will put a hook through your nose and a bit in your mouth and will take you back by the same road you came."  (30)  Then Isaiah said to King Hezekiah, "Here is a sign of what will happen. This year and next you will have only wild grain to eat, but the following year you will be able to plant grain and harvest it, and plant vines and eat grapes.  (31)  Those in Judah who survive will flourish like plants that send roots deep into the ground and produce fruit. (32)  There will be people in Jerusalem and on Mount Zion who will survive, because the LORD Almighty is determined to make this happen.  (33)  "And this is what the LORD has said about the Assyrian emperor: 'He will not enter this city or shoot a single arrow against it. No soldiers with shields will come near the city, and no siege mounds will be built around it.  (34)  He will go back by the same road he came, without entering this city. I, the LORD, have spoken.  (35)  I will defend this city and protect it, for the sake of my own honor and because of the promise I made to my servant David.'"  Isaiah 37:21-35 GNB
As you can see when God came up against a king of Assyria and destroyed him, it was not because of Hezekiah alone but it was because of the covenant of God with King David. Whom this same covenant is established forever in Jesus the HOLY ONE of Israel PSALM 89: 18-27. This same covenant is established in each and every Christian. The problem really as that too many people think that because of the trouble they start talking just like to people did in Jerusalem whenever they were surrounded thought that, it might be God using the king of Assyria to destroy Hezekiah. people now days think that well it must not be the will God. Sad part about it is may never sought the will God in the first place nor heard from him while things are okay or sought him when on the edge of destruction in when destruction came packed up and went on to give God a testimony much like this: "I certainly thought that God was guiding me, but all this trouble came so how must been out of the will God."  I don't know where the says the Bible that it would be smooth sailing across still waters in a Christian walk. As a matter-of-fact the born-again believer many times becomes a Christian in a time to of trouble when there is no other answer or solution except God. That type a Christian can expect that there is no other solution except God. Other Christians who acquired Christianity through training and upbringing or tradition handed for generation to generation often seek a tribulation free lifestyle. Or some think that if they become a Christian then all of their troubles will fade away. To the contrary just becoming a Christian will get God on your side, but at the least one could expect that Satan will come to steal all hope and faith you have in God. This is sure that when the trial has ended then God will cause you to prosper, especially in the area where Satan intended the most harm.
I am here to say one thing and that is that a Christian can expect to be delivered from all the tribulations that God oh no way for any reason dishonor his own word or violate any promise that he had made in his written word. How we get into circumstances, trials, tribulations. Are a result of many things.
1.   The most common is a result of actions of the flesh, responding to fear, responding in anger, bitterness, unforgiveness, rebellion and other sins. Any these things, have a cause and effect which which will eventually end up in a destructive situation. These things usually leave the door wide-open for the devil to come in and persecute you. However, this persecution is not to your glory were to the Glory of God but in this situation God will not forget you or a fail to deliver hear from all of them.
2.   The other situation in which, a born-again Christian may undergo from time to time. That is when they have heard from God concerning the will God in their lives and are pursuing to fulfill the will of God. At that time every demon Satan can loose against a person are used to influence the decisions of others to bring of no effect the will of the Lord God from coming to pass. These type tribulations will establish a person in their position in the Kingdom  of Heaven forever. Many times people will stumble in the tribulation but then get right backup and pursue the will of God and the fulfill it. God is a God of grace and mercy. He desires to be established in opposition that he may show himself to be God.

3.  Moreover, I asked him one time "You are a God of all wisdom and all knowledge, omnipotent, omnipresent, and have complete fore knowledge on every circumstance of my life and exactly how is one act in that situation and how would turn out."  I meditated on that for while, and the Lord spoke to my spirit in my heart and said  "I don't allow you to go through tribulation. I don't bring any tribulation to you. And I will deliver you from all your tribulations even when you transgress against my word, sin against me. The day that you are "born-again" you was made complete and in right standing with Me. I did not take you out of the world then because,  you need to know for all eternity how valuable your salvation really is." Oh such comforting words to hear what agreat value that God has put on our salvation.
That puts it in perfect perspective, without the trials, tribulations and imminent destruction from time to time we would never appreciate and love God. Who really is on our side does not see us unfit as the devil attempts to make a Christian believe about God. God wants us to the victorious have a joyful, peaceful, prosperous, and healthy life right here on Earth. He wants us to really appreciate His goodness. We cannot appreciate His goodness if the handed to us as he did Adam in the Garden of Eden. Neither Adam or Eve appreciated what God gave them but presumed, that they had everything and really didn't know what was like to lose felloship with God, until after they broke fellowship with God through sin. They were both grievous at their loss, nonetheless, they were willing to wholeheartedly except their error but shifted part of the blame on the serpent in the woman's case. In case of Adam he not only blamed in his wife for talking him into it, but he made it also very clear that it was a woman that God gave him therefore, she did it because you made her that way God. There's a case of the creator being judged by the created. A lot like Satan who was revealed great wisdom knowledge and understanding as the light bearer or "Lucifer" judged God and deceived a third of the Holy Angels. To this day we pass judgement on each other forgetting that we are but the created of God and made wonderfully in his likeness and image.

That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Philippians 2:10-11 KJV
And so those whom God set apart, he called; and those he called, he put right with himself, and he shared his glory with them.  (31)  In view of all this, what can we say? If God is for us, who can be against us?  (32)  Certainly not God, who did not even keep back his own Son, but offered him for us all! He gave us his Son---will he not also freely give us all things?  (33)  Who will accuse God's chosen people? God himself declares them not guilty! (34)  Who, then, will condemn them? Not Christ Jesus, who died, or rather, who was raised to life and is at the right side of God, pleading with him for us!  (35)  Who, then, can separate us from the love of Christ? Can trouble do it, or hardship or persecution or hunger or poverty or danger or death?  (36)  As the scripture says, "For your sake we are in danger of death at all times; we are treated like sheep that are going to be slaughtered."  (37)  No, in all these things we have complete victory through him who loved us! (38)  For I am certain that nothing can separate us from his love: neither death nor life, neither angels nor other heavenly rulers or powers, neither the present nor the future,  (39)  neither the world above nor the world below---there is nothing in all creation that will ever be able to separate us from the love of God which is ours through Christ Jesus our Lord.
