Game Day, Game 9: Lightning v. Bandits: Wednesday, November 5, 2003

 

There we were with only seven players, and one goalie (who was so busy in the dressing room using

some weird homemade invention from supplies she got from her school art class trying to make supports

for her skates because she bought them too big!).  The game started out with the other team scoring first,

we managed to tie it up, but then they scored again to go ahead 2-1 after the first period.  We felt like

we could pick it up a step, that is an understatement.  We tied up the game in the second, and scored

3 more goals in the third period for a 5-2 victory.  Not sure where everyone else was, but I know that

Marlene was in Montreal recuperating from her sore ankle, and of course, Petra is back home in Slovakia

(I bet she misses us J).  I can’t remember much else from the game because I waited for two other games

to be played before I started writing this.  Oh well, one thing for sure though, isn’t Kobe a great addition

to our team this season, she is steady on defence and is wonderful at giving offensive break out passes to

the forwards … she has lots of assist … but I still think she should shoot more!  That’s it, let’s see what

I can remember about the next game …
