Game Day, Game 7: Sunday, October 19, 2003 at 12:30pm v. Burnaby Bandits

Marlene, Marlene, Marlene, is that the way to get a write up on our Website … getting your skates sharpened,

 making a quick turn, spraining your ankle, and lying on the ice getting all that attention, and never mind that Chad

 had to help you shower after the game … well, at least you didn’t just fall over and break your ankle like Leanna

did waiting for a faceoff a couple of years ago J.  Wow, what a start we had, we played a fantastic first period,

got a good lead, and that lasted all the way to a 4-0 win.  Somewhere along the way, Leanna was dancing with the

boards right near our bench, Sieve was busy blocking shots with her shoulder, Liz was solid in net, even though

she played in “out” player skates (did anyone else notice), and all the lines had tons of scoring chances … who

didn’t get a breakaway?   Tania, thanks for dropping off your jersey, it will be reserved for the next time you

come out.  Speaking of which … the next game day is Wednesday, October 29 at 6:30pm.
