Taichi Kamiya, leader of the DigiDestined. There's one in almost every anime-- a fearless, bold, hardheaded character who does thing for others, but often in the wrong way. Tai is that character in Digimon.

Tai doesn't get along with all of the DigiDestined. For example, err, I could use.. maybe.. Matt? In fact, Matt's the ONLY one he didn't really get along with. But it also seems that this constant fighting only made Tai and Matt better friends.

Taichi also has a younger sister, Hikari (or Kari.) Tai cares for her a lot. He proves to be one of the best older siblings I've seen.

Tai's last name is Yagami in the Japanese version, but for some strange reason, they changed it to Kamiya in the American version. I see absolutely NO POINT in that. The nicknames? I can understand that. The nicknames make their names seem a little easier for American people tounderstand, myself included. But why the last name?

My Opinion: Tai's a cool person. Very realistic. I give him an A+.
