Koushiro "IZZY" Izumi, intellectual. Izzy is the most intelligent character I have ever seen. And still, he seems not to be too much of a nerd... a little nonsocial, but a very calm, very levelheaded character.

Izzy is adopted. His real parents were killed in a car crash when he was a baby. His father was a mathematician (famous?) His relatives (believed to be his aunt and uncle) took him in after recently losing a yound child of their own. Izzy discovered he was adopted some time later, but hasn't told his parents yet.

Now I don't know if this is accurate, but I read somewhere that in Japan, you should be ashamed to be adopted. I don't think Izzy should be. He definately has nothing to be ashamed of.

My Opinion: Izzy is the young smart kid who has nothing to lose no matter what he does. A very good addition to the DigiDestined.
