Tick, Tick...BOOM!
Part of Tick, Tick...Boom! was created by Jonathan Larson, but much of it was added onto by writers after he died. This musical is actually about Jonathan Larson while he was a struggling writer. It went through some of his relationships, and decisions that he had to make. This was the time when Jonathan's musical, Superbia, was being performed at the New York Theatre Workshop. In the musical, many of the same issues as are in Rent were brought up, and, at the very end of the musical, a Rent fan will be able to notice that he is being inspired to write Rent at that moment. If you are truly a Renthead, there will be many lines that will remind you of Rent throughout the show. And, in my personal experience, the Jane Street Theater, where Tick, Tick...Boom! is performed, smells like the Nederlander. For information about Tick, Tick...Boom!, you can go to www.ticktickboom.net. Tickets are $50, and they have $20 rush seats. This show is extremely worth seeing.

A while ago, I was on a mad search for Tick...Tick...Boom! lyrics, and I couldn't find them anywhere. So, I am going to post the lyrics here, as soon as I get a chance, hopefully by the end of the week!
