A RENT Survey I got - feel free to copy this, fill it out, and email it to me, and I'll include it on my page.
1. How many times have you seen Rent? 3 times 2. Which cast did you see? The current Broadway cast with Manley Pope and Loraine Velez. 3. Who is your favorite character? Maureen 4. Why? Cause she's cool, she stuck up for a cause she believed in (and caused ME to write a killer A+ essay about it!), and plus, that hair, I've got the same hair, so it kicks ass. 5. What's your favorite song? Hmm...Out Tonight, Another Day, Rent, La Vie Boheme, What You Own, and a lot more. 6. Is there any song you don't particularly like? I don't really like Contact. 7. If you were to play a part in Rent, who would you be? I would love to play Maureen, but I'd probably end up as Roger because I think I've had more experience as him...I've probably acted out his part in Light My Candle more times than Manley and Adam put together! 8. Do you consider yourself a Renthead? Yes, most definitely! 9. Have you influenced anyone else to become a Renthead? Well, my nine-year-old sister walks around talking about a cow named Elsie who lives in Cyberland where they only drink Diet Coke, and she's never seen the show. My motto, RENTIFY THE WORLD, GET EM WHILE THEY'RE YOUNG. My thirteen sister is also dying to see Rent. 10. What is your favorite quote from Rent? 'Cause I kicked him and I told him I wasn't his whore! (And that is a fun scene to act out in public!) 11. What quote pops up most in your every day life? Just about every Friday, I get frustrated at bowling, and I say to Laurel "I quit!" and we sing "Dying in America, at the end of the millenium..." 12. What is your most memorable Rent-related memory? If you asked me this yesterday, I would have said something about the time when Laurel and I were smooth criminals and went to see Rent, but after today, I'd have to say that it was either when Lucy demanded "WINE AND BEER!!!!!!!!" from the waiter, or when Laurel and I argued with the waiter that although we look like we're sixteen, we're nineteen, but old for our age. We're just born to be bad. 13. Would you recommend Rent to other people? Yes, and Rent is not a show for gay people, and you will not turn gay by watching. In fact, if you're female, there are some straight (but married...)males in the show that will attract your attention. 14. Any last words? Let he among us without sin be the first to condemn!
