Hey there. I don't have the slightest idea as to why you were compelled to read about me, but you clicked on my picture, or the link below it, so here you go.
Hi. My name is Jessica and I am a RENThead.
I'm 15 years old, and I'm from New York, about 35 minutes from Midtown when there's no traffic (and when is that??!?)
I have two sisters, Tara and Shannon, and they are 13 and 9. They both want to see RENT, but they haven't yet. They know Maureen's performance practically by heart, as do most of their friends. I am proud.
My parents don't see why I like RENT so much. My dad saw the play once, my mom never did. She said she might like to. They are not amused with my recent theatre obsession...because it costs them money. And because they don't like when I sing. They like it better when I sing RENT than when I sing Les Mis, though. Cause like Today 4 U and stuff like that you don't really need a good singing voice. They said that they wish I liked dramas more than musical theatre. Oh well.
I don't have a good singing voice. In fact, I have a horrible singing voice. But I sing RENT, and I sing Les Mis, and I sing when my friends come over. Singing is fun.I wish I could do it well.
My awesome friends include but are not limited to Barbara, Laurel, Christine, Yagil, Tiffany, Stefanie, Jamie, Jessica, Lindsey, Amy, Liam, Rachel, Hannah, Amanda, and Jen. Nobody else deserves to be recognized ;-) No, I love everyone.
However, my only fellow RENThead is Laurel. We are quite obsessed. And if we can't see RENT, the only thing to do is jump over the moon. But we're gonna see RENT soon.

Aside from RENT, I DO have other interests. You don't believe me, do you?!? I'm a swimmer (sort of slacking off there, though...) and I also like all kinds of theatre, not just RENT, and even when they *don't* sing. I am supposedly in my school play, except Mrs. Repenning doesn't know who I am, and I doubt that we are having a play.
I also bowl. These are not bowling fingers, THESE are bowling fingers, and THESE are GOLD!! My average is a 72 right now, but once I bowled a 104, and a long time ago, a 138.
According to Emode.com, my IQ is 138 as well. We smart people don't bowl good...errr...I mean well.
And, I like to take pictures. And put them online. And put them in photo albums. Because that's fun.
My favorite book was Girl Interrupted. I also liked Wasted, and I love the Junie B. Jones series. Junie B. Jones can kick Harry Potter's ass, name the time and place! Can you tell that I've stolen some of Barbara Park's writing style? Well I have. Because it's fun. And it makes me look bad, sometimes.
At the moment, I am playing this "Celebrity" game with Yagil where he says one celebrity's name, and I say another starting with the last letter.
I am amazing him with my outside-of-theater knowledge. He didn't think that I knew who all these people were. No, I know their names, but I can't rattle off a fact sheet about them. Yesterday he asked me to name "hot actors" and I gave him "Manley Pope" and he said no, "Trey Ellett" and he said no, "Adam Pascal" and he said no, and then I was like "Find your own hot fucking actors!!!!!!" YEAH! OH! Yagimeister's getting shown a thign or two!
