the basics
Hello! My name is Denise and this is my website. Although you probably already knew that. =) Um... I'm a Filipino-American girl who is struggling through her senior year of high school... and I live in beautiful, sunny Southern California. I'm about 5'2"-5'3"ish... dark hair highlighted with brown/blondish streaks... and I am Catholic. Very proud of it too. =)
hobbies/favorites
I LOVE music, as you can kinda tell by this site. =) I also love to sing. I've been singing since before I can remember, and I guess years of singing has improved my craft. =) [One of these days I'll upload a snippet of me singing.] I also love to write... which is why the "stories" page is here. I've been writing for a while, and I write about a lot of things. Mostly fan fiction, but self insertion here and there too. It's rubbing off on my little brother. =) I also enjoy talking on the phone, shopping, listening to music, playing the piano, bumming around on the Internet [IMs... they're the best], and hanging out with friends. I also work hard in school. [This past year I got a 4.83 gpa... okay don't throw your shoes at me okay?] So I guess I enjoy schoolwork, but who does? Sometimes though I really don't mind it, which is weird. Anyway, moving on...
I love: anything orange flavored [especially orange soda], Chinese, Italian, and Filipino food... the color cerulean blue... the sound of music [NOT the movie, but the actual phrase], friends, family, God... Star Wars, Friends, Days of our Lives, Passions, Jamie Sal� and David Pelletier... figure skating... Hawaii... a lot of different things.

Some of my nicknames are: Nise, Bob the Sheep, Catholic Coconut, Chiquita, Shella Dawn [actually that's my alter ego who whines about her pimples and her nails... LOL... LONG story], um... I used to be called Britney a while before by my friend Greg... oh and Baby Doll... that's what my mom calls me. =) And guys... I hate to break it to you... but I'm taken, so sorry. I know people who want dates though. hehe. Yeah... my boyfriend and I have been going out for a little over a month now, but we liked each other for about seven months before that. =D His name is David, you can see his picture in the "misc pics" section.
