Welcome to Lighthart Design! I'm Louise Lighthart, an avid knitter with many years of experience in design. I have my teaching certification and Master Knitting certification, and am always expanding my knowledge of knitting and crocheting.
My sweaters are made from the finest yarns and buttons available, and many feature Prism and Great Adirondack Yarns! Most of my buttons are quality metals and/or Italian art glass.

I teach workshops and various knitting technique classes throughout the greater Washington, DC area. Two of the places where my classes are currently being held are Aylin's Woolgatherer (Falls Church, VA) and The Yarn Barn (Burke, VA). I love to teach, and it's great to see new faces, so join me at either of these locations!
