| Codename: Lifeguard Real name: Heather Lifeguard has the power to exibit any trait eg wings if she's falling, a tail if she's drowning. Her brother is also a mutant , she and him had their powers jumpstarted by Sage. She has recently undergone another stage of mutation and now looks like a golden eagle woman,much po her own horror. | " I'm not sure what I think about Lifeguard. I think she has interesting powers, but they seem a little too... perfect. Having the mutant ability to create powers based on your current needs has got to come in handy, but I miss the days when characters had only one power (and even then some of these powers weren't all that remarkable). It seems as though lately all of the X-characters are generating secondary mutations or are able to use their powers in six different ways. I miss the days of Cypher, Colossus, and Angel... simple mutations made extraordinary by the way in which they were used. Lifeguard may have potential to be a great character and a heck of an X-Man, but enough with every new character being "potentially the most powerful person on the face of the planet". It's getting kind of old, and sooner or later one of them is going to accidentally blow up the planet" . |

| The New Angel is your stereotypical black gobby..fairy?! the girl does have fairy wings as well as one hell of an attitude which she appears to enjoy pissing Wolverine off with. Not much has been done with her yet, but her creator has said he want's her to be someone it takes people years to actually like. Move over Monet St Criox! |
