Chapter 8: Outdoor Activites

Beep. Beep. Beep. 'Damn alarm' thought Joy as she thrashed the snooze button 'Mountains are not even that far away so i have to get up at such an ungodly hour' complained Joy to herself. After dragging herself out of bed she got ready to have a shower. After having a steaming hot shower she felt alot more awake, after getting dressed she heard the door bell ringing. 'Damn Carl is early i wanted to get some breakfast first' thought Joy. "Hey your early Carl" said Joy as she saw Carl standing at the door.

"You going to let me in? I thought we could have breakfast together" said Carl

"That's so sweet, I think that will make up for you not staying last night" said Joy

Carl smiled at her as she opened the door and let him in. "Your going to love it this weekend, i have all the ropes we need in the car" said Carl

"Do you have the tent?" asked Joy

“Of course Joy, what makes you think I didn’t?” asked Carl

“I don’t know, just that I’ve never been camping” said Joy.

“Seriously? You’re missing out Joy” said Carl

“I couldn’t believe you hadn’t been diving before” said Joy

With a sly wink Carl said “Looks like we have something to share with each other.”

“Indeed we do, I need coffee” said Joy.

“I’ll get it for you then we can head of, when we get there we have a two hour walk to reach the campsite” said Carl.

Joy’s eyes widened and she said “Two hours?!?” exclaimed Joy

Carl chuckled and said “You get used to it, don’t worry only some of it is mountainous most of the trail is flat”

“It better be or you’ll be carrying me up the mountain” said Joy as she poked her tongue out at him.

After having their coffee and breakfast they got into Carl’s sports car and drove off towards the mountains. After an hour of driving Joy said “This place is beautiful, rainforests are so amazing”

“Yeah they are mountain forests are more beautiful when they are resting on extinct volcanoes like this one” said Carl

“How much further until we reach the trail?” asked Joy

“Not much longer now a few more minutes and we should be there.” said Carl

A few minutes later they arrived at a parking area with a few cars scattered about the parking space. “Can you carry the tent? I’ll carry the bags with the climbing equipment” said Carl

“Sure, I’ll help you out there” said Joy

“Lets get moving” said Carl as he locked the car and picked up the climbing bag putting it over his shoulder he walked to the trail entrance at the edge of the parking space. “Come on Joy” said Carl over his shoulder as Joy struggled with the tent.

After an hour of struggling with the tent up the hillside Joy dropped the tent bag with an audible thump and thought to herself ‘I’m so going to make Carl pay for this tonight’

“You surprised me Joy, I thought you would have dumped that ages ago. Carry the climbing gear its heavier but a lot less annoying.” said Carl

Joy just stared at him and grumbled “You could have told me this so much earlier.” ‘He’s so going to get it later’ thought Joy.

”I tried taking Miranda camping once all I got was complaints it was so not fun” said Carl.

“Really, well I’m not complaining its just that damn tent is so awkward” said Joy

“I know I have trouble with it myself” said Carl “You ready to continue? The largest slope is up ahead.” said Carl.

“Oh great, yeah I’m ready” said Joy. After about another hour of toil Joy’s legs and arms felt like deadweight. “Damn my arms and legs are tired, I have no idea how I’ll manage to climb anything today.” said Joy.

“Don’t worry Joy, we are nearly there, there’s an awesome campsite up ahead.” said Carl.

“Wow this place is amazing” said Joy as they approached a small clearing in the vast expanse of trees. After dumping the climbing gear near some trees, Carl dug out some plastic containers with some food in it.

“Lets have some food now, I’m starving” said Carl

“Good idea, I could do with a good rest” said Joy.

After eating their meal Joy said “When we go back your taking the tent”

“Sure, I thought at one time you were ready to pitch it off the side of the mountain” said Carl

“That would have been a smart move wouldn’t it? Then we’d have no where to sleep” said Joy as she kissed his cheek.

“Now I want to show you where we are climbing first, its an easy slope so I can teach you how to use the hooks.” said Carl.

“Can we wait a bit? My arms don’t want to do anything right now.” said Joy.

“Oh really.” said Carl he walked over to her and pulled her back into his chest. He pushed his thumbs into her arm muscles and made her groan.

”Ohhh Carl that’s great, they still feel really numb though” said Joy.

”After I’m done with this babe I’ll move onto your legs can’t have you having jelly legs can we?” asked Carl as he kissed her behind the ear.

“Mmmm, feels so good keep doing that Carl.” said Joy.

After Carl finished driving his thumbs down her arms he repeated this with her legs. After finishing this Carl asked “Feel better?”

“Yeah much better, thanks Carl” said Joy and she turned around and kissed him gently. “Ok come on lets go and get some climbing done” said Joy

“Right I’ll carry all the bags this time Joy so you don’t strain yourself” said Carl.

Joy rolled her eyes at him and picked up her bag and followed him. After a short walk through the bushes they came to a tilted rocky hill.

“I know its not really a cliff but it’s a really good place to learn how to climb with the hooks.” said Carl. “Put the climbing gloves on Joy you’ll need them or you’ll cut up your hands” said Carl as he pulled out some hooks attached to some thick ropes.

“Will I need this helmet?” asked Joy

“Yeah you’ll need that or you’ll hurt your head worse if you hit something” said Carl.

After getting the safety equipment on Carl took Joy to the bottom of the hill-face. “Open the hooks like this” said Carl as he showed Joy how to open the hooks. “Cliffs are generally very uneven so there will generally always be a place where you can wedge these hooks in” said Carl.

“Ok so like this?” asked Joy as she hooked the hook into a gap in the hill.

“Yeah like that, then you put your foot into a toehold they are rocks that stick out from the side of the cliff, this hill is very good for that.” said Carl

After sometime practicing this Joy had scaled halfway up the hill “Are you coming up Carl?” asked Joy.

“Yeah, your doing really well Joy” said Carl.

“Thanks this is great, I can’t wait until we can actually climb a real cliff” said Joy

“You’d want to rest before doing that the best cliff for that is quite far away” said Carl as he started climbing up the side of the cliff

“Ahhhh, damn it” yelled Joy.

”What happened?” asked Carl.

“Owww.. My foot slipped I grazed my leg on the rocks.

“Oooo does it sting much? I’ve done that plenty of times before” said Carl

“Yes it does, but I want to finish climbing this damn hill” said Joy

“Alright if your feeling up to it” said Carl.

After pulling herself up the hill with her shin leaking blood she collapse at the top the hill and waited for Carl to reach her.

“Let me take a look at your leg, I went back down and got the first aid kit” said Carl.

He pushed her shorts leg up and straightened her leg when Carl accidentally touched her leg she hissed in pain. “Sorry Joy, you scraped your leg pretty badly there, can you walk on it?” asked Carl.

“I can’t just yet” said Joy.

“Right I’ll just clean it, it’s going to sting ok so be ready for it” said Carl

“Ok.. ahhhhh!” yelled Joy when Carl rubbed an alcohol swab onto her leg.

“I know it really hurts doesn’t it?” said Carl.

“Yeah it does” said Joy as she hissed in pain while Carl applied bandages to her scrapes.

“Right then, do you want me to carry you down the hillside?” asked Carl.

”No it will be alright I just need to rest for a little bit, just need to wait for my leg to stop throbbing then it should be fine” said Joy.

“Ok I’ll just go get all the bags I’ll be right back” said Carl, Carl returned to the base of the hill and collected their bags and carried them back up the hill

“Took you long enough Carl” said Joy as she stood up.

“You ok now?” asked Carl.

“Yeah I should be fine walking back to camp.” said Joy.

After walking back to the small clearing they dumped their bags in the middle, Joy said “Carl I’ll try setting up the tent, you go get the firewood”

“Are you sure? You’ve never slept in a tent before, how are you going to set it up?” asked Carl

“I’m not a total imbecile Carl, I think I can figure it out” said Joy putting her hands on her hips.

When Carl returned with an armload of firewood. Carl dropped the load near the nearly fully erected tent was pitched. “Are you sure you’ve never been camping before?” asked Carl.

“Yeah, its not as hard as it looks, plus there isn’t much breeze to shift the tent.” said Joy as she pounded the last peg in.

“So what food did you bring Joy?” asked Carl.

“Salted steak and lamb and some salted sausages, stuff we can cook over the fire.” said Joy

“Nice Joy, I have some lettuce and carrots, some cucumber.” said Carl.

“Green food, not my favourite but it will have to do, lets get this fire going” said Joy. After piling the wood together Joy grabbed the bottle of alcohol from the first aid kit and poured some on the wood. “This is how you light a fire” said Joy as she struck a match and dropped it on the wood which flared into flame.

Carl chuckled and grabbed her in a hug “That certainly is one way” said Carl.

“Not nearly as primitive then striking stones together, lets cook this meat I’m starved” said Joy.

After eating the food that they cooked, Carl asked “Joy did you bring a sleeping bag?”

”Nope I knew you’d be bringing one and that we would be sharing it” said Joy slyly.

“Wherever did you get such an idea?” asked Carl

“I don’t know actually but if you’d rather me lay in the cold its fine with me” said Joy as she pushed him over and passionately kissed him.

“Don’t worry Joy the sleeping bag is big enough for both of us” said Carl as he rolled them over and kissed her back.

“Oww be careful there Carl, my leg still hurts” said Joy.

“Sorry gorgeous” said Carl.

Joy stood up and grabbed Carl’s hand pulling him into the tent she pushed his shirt up and pulled it over his head, she then pushed him down on top their sleeping bag. “I love your muscles Carl, I love how they feel” said Joy as she licked her tongue lightly over his nipples. “I’m going to make you pay for making me drag this cursed tent all the way up here” said Joy.

Carl could only groan in response as Joy massaged his stomach muscles while her tongue worked on his chest. “I know something that will make this better, close your eyes Carl it’s a surprise” said Joy.

“Ok” said Carl, as he closed his eyes in anticipation of what Joy had in-store for him. Joy moved over to her bag and extracted the jar of chocolate sauce. She unscrewed the cap and dug her fingers into the jar, she scooped out a large chunk of the thick sauce and then rubbed it into Carl’s chest making him moan. “What’s that?” asked Carl.

”Why its chocolate, I’m going to lick it all off your body.” said Joy she spread the sauce over his chest and stomach, she unbuttoned his pants and unzipped them, she pulled them off leaving him in his boxers. Joy lowered her mouth to his neck and pushed her tongue down his chest gathering the chocolate making him groan in pleasure as she rubbed his nipples.

She spent a good while teasing his chest gathering the chocolate she spread with her fingers and swallowing it. Having become more familiar with his body she knew where his weak spots were, she grasped his boxers and pulled them off, she dipped her fingers into the jar and fisted his hardness with her hand full of the chocolate sauce making Carl moan and start to squirm.

He grabbed the jar of sauce and poured some onto his hand. He slowly dripped the sauce over her stomach, then lowered his face down and pushed the sauce around her stomach with his tongue. Once Carl had swallowed the excess sauce on her stomach, he got some more sauce from the jar and dripped it on to his hand. He put down the jar, then began massaging the sauce into her breasts covering them completly. Carl picked up the jar again and poured some more sauce down between her breasts.

"That's awesome, i can't wait for that then." Said Joy, as she opened the sleeping bag and slipped in. "You coming in, Carl?" asked Joy. Carl smiled his sexy smile and pulled the sleeping bag open far enough for him to slide in, their sweat slicked bodies making it easier for Carl to get in.

"Night, baby" murmured Carl, as he pulled Joy into him.

"Night, handsome" said Joy, as she slid her arms around his back.

"Kally, you got all your stuff already?" asked Jake.

"Yeah, i do i want to share more with you Jake." said Kally as she leaned over and kissed him lightly on the lips.

"You don't know, how good you make me feel Kally, I'm in love with you," said Jake.

Kally fish-gaped at him and when she could talk again she gushed, "I love you too, Jake. I think i'm ready to make a bigger commitment to you. I want to share my life with you, you make me feel so good about myself."

"You really want to go that far?" asked Jake.

"Yes, I do Jake, i'm ready for that. Help me bring my things inside" said Kally.

"Ok, do you want to use my spare room for all your stuff? I don't have enough room in my bedroom for all your things" said Jake.

"Sure babe" said Kally. After Kally had moved all her bags into her new room she asked Jake. "Where is the bathroom?"

"I'll show you" called Jake. He showed her where it was and Kally disapeared behind the door and locked it. After a short time in the bathroom, Kally emerged dressed only in a pair of incredibly sexily lingerie she bought especially to seduce Jake. Black silky bra and panties, she sauntered sexily into the living area and sat down on Jake's lap and began playing with the buttons on his shirt, she felt him instantly harden beneath her. Jake let out a breath and said "Wow, Kally that is so sexy"

"So do you like it?" asked Kally sexily as she continued to slowly toy with his shirt, slowly unbuttoning it.

"Yes, i do very much" growled Jake into her ear as he rubbed his groin against hers. Kally burried her face against his neck and scraped his skin lightly with her teeth, she slid her hands down his muscular chest and stroked his abs. After Kally started nibbling on his neck, Jake groaned as his fangs began to stretch. Kally got off him and pulled his shirt off. She unzipped his pants and pulled them off.

She looked into his face and said as she purred sexily. "Make me yours Jake"

Jake grabbed Kally by the waist and took her to his bedroom, he laid her down on his bed and removed her underwear. He passionately kissed her and said "I will be right back, i have to get something." Jake walked to a large antique cabinet in his living room and pulled out a key, he unlocked a drawer and pulled out the same athame Miranda used on him. He walked back into the bedroom where Kally looked curiously at the ornate dagger. 'Miranda was pretty stupid to think that the blood bonding ritual would have actually worked on me, she didn't do it both ways' thought Jake as he placed the athame on the bedside table. He pushed his boxers off and grabbed the athame. "Don't worry about a thing Kally, this is how the ritual is supposed to go" said Jake.

He sliced his wrist and waited for the blood to begin flowing, he lowered his wrist to Kally's stomach and brushed it across smearing his blood against her skin. He then cut Kally's wrist and smeared her blood across his stomach. He raised her bleeding wrist to his mouth, he drew a small amount of her blood through it and ran his tongue across the cut, sealing it over. "Wow, i didn't know vampires could heal like that" said Kally.

"Neither did I baby" said Jake, he lowered the athame to the blood mark on Kally's stomach and sliced a thin line across it letting her blood merge with his, he then raised the athame to his stomach and did the same but this time a deeper cut to allow more of his blood to seep out. Jake then said to Kally as he climbed on top of her, "I want this to be as memberable as possible for you." Kally grabbed his face and pulled him down for a long kiss. She grasped his hardness and pushed him inside of her, making them groan slightly. Kally grinded her hips against him as he began to build up a steady pace.

Jake wrapped his hands around the back of Kally's neck and pulled her up to him, he kissed her passionately while they slowly began to drive each other crazy. Jake broke the kiss, he trailed his tongue up behind her ear, then down to her neck. Her neck arteries pounding in anticipation. Jake bared his fully extended fangs and slowly pierced her skin, eliciting a long moan from Kally as he thrust his hips into her powerfully and began to slowly drain blood out of neck. "Ohhhh... Jake!" panted Kally. She rotated her hips around Jake's hips, he growled and forced his fangs deep into her neck drinking deeply, making her scream in pleasure. Jake increased the speed of his thrusting as Kally's rotating hips drove him insane with need.

Jake drained more blood out of her, she began to pale as she grew weaker. With one final burst of strength, she thrust right up against Jake she screamed as her orgasm thundered through her. Jake lifted his head and growled as he exploded inside of her. He laid down on top of her and said softly "Don't let what you see bother you, its just fragments of past memories." Kally wrapped her arms around him and hugged him as she closed her eyes. Jake raised his wrist to his fangs and sliced it back open. "Kally drink this please" said Jake. Kally opened her eyes slightly and accepted the blood that dripped into her mouth, after she had taken some of his blood, Jake kissed her softly. Kally closed her eyes, then Jake closed his mouth around her neck and drained the last of her blood.

Kally’s eyes blazed open and sank her fangs deeply into Jake’s shoulder. Jake cried out in shock. “Kally.. fight the urge” said Jake brokenly. She wrest control of her senses and struggled to say.

“Jake.. these urges are so powerful” said Kally.

“I know baby, when I first woke from the change it was like a hot searing pain, you just have to resist it longer, I’ll take you out so we can feed” said Jake

“Ok, first we need to get dressed” said Kally as she gained a little more control, but still barely holding it together.

“After we do this I have to tell you more about the people I work for” said Jake, as he led her outside.

“How hard is it the.. first time?” asked Kally.

“Its hard, but letting your instincts take over makes it easier” said Jake.

“Ok, I’m ready, lets do this” said Kally as they went looking for prey.

"Ahh" moaned Joy in pain as she shifted her legs as she woke up.

"Joy? Are you ok?" murmured Carl as he woke.

"Yeah i'm ok, Just i need my leg rebandaged its falling off" said Joy.

"I'm taking you to this amazing place i found this morning, We can get clean there." said Carl.

"Well ok, You do smell to Carl" said Joy.

Carl shoved Joy as he extracted himself from the bag "You stink to Joy" said Carl.

"Sorry baby, urgh i feel so sticky" complained Joy.

"It was your idea Joy, don't blame me." said Carl.

"Alright, i give up." said Joy as she hugged him. She kissed his cheek and said "What's for breakfast? I'm hungry"

"I brought cereal" said Carl.

"I don't usually have cereal" said Joy.

"Well its good to try something new occasionaly Joy" said Carl

After they had breakfast and had gotten dressed, Carl picked up the bag with the climbing equipment in it he rummaged through the bag he brought and took out two large fluffy towels. "Nice towels" said Joy.

"Yeah, you ready to go? Your leg fine?" asked Carl.

"Yeah i'm all good" said Joy.

"Great, lets take the tent down and head off then it will take about a good hour of walking and don't worry i'll carry the tent" said Carl, noticing the look on her face.

After walking for a good hour, Carl asked "Listen, can you hear that?"

After hearing the slight thunderous sound of rushing water, Joy asked "Yeah, what is that?"

"Just wait until you get to the top of that cliff and you'll see" said Carl.

"Caaarl, tell me now.." begged Joy.

"Its a surprise, this is a real cliff so it will be harder to climb, and your probably less likely to hurt yourself this time" said Carl.

"Alright..." bemoaned Joy.

"I'll come up under you ok." said Carl.

"Yeah sure, this cliff looks easier anyway" said Joy, examining the jutting cliff-face, though not totally sure about the rocks that were jutting out like daggers. "How long does it take to climb this cliff?" asked Joy.

"If you do it right it, shouldn't be anymore then an hour" said Carl, as he rigged up the safety equipment.

"Ok, lets do this then" said Joy as she dug her claw into the rockface and started to pull herself up wedging the foot pegs in as she went.

After sometime climbing Carl called out "Having more fun this time Joy?

"Yeah, this is awesome" said Joy.

When Joy reached the top of the cliff she put her hands over the top and as she pulled herself over the top of the cliff she was greeted by an impressive sight, an even taller cliff towered over her, completly overgrown with vines and bushes with a wide rushing torrent of water running down the side of the cliff-face. "Wow, Carl this really is amazing" called out Joy as Carl pulled himself up the cliff-face.

"Yeah i know this place is amazing" said Carl as he pulled up the bags he attached to the ropes. "Come over here, i want to show you something" said Carl. He took Joy over to where the waterfall collected the water.

"Ohh, thats awesome" said Joy as Carl began to peel off his sweat drenched clothes. He slid his boxers off and jumped into the water

"Come on Joy, come and join me, the water is great." said Carl, as he surfaced.

"Ok, coming in" said Joy as she stripped off her clothes she jumped in and swam over to Carl, she wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him in for a kiss.

"Come over here, we can use the waterfall to get clean" said Carl, producing a cloth he had tucked into his pants.

"This feels so nice..." moaned Joy, as she swam into the curtain of water.

"Yeah, it is relaxing here, its also much easier to get down from here only take a minute or two to absail down the mountain side." said Carl, as he washed himself with the cloth under the spray of the waterfall.

"Pass me the cloth, please babe" said Joy, as Carl finished. Once he handed her the cloth, she pressed him against the rock wall and stroked his back with the cloth. "Needed to wash your back Carl" grinned Joy, as she started to wash herself.

After Joy had finished cleaning herself, Carl took the cloth from her and rubbed down her back. He then tossed the cloth on to a rock shelf and grinded her into the slick smooth wall of the waterfall. "Ahh, Carl that feels good" moaned Joy, as she ground her hips into his growing hardness. He soundlessly kissed and licked at her neck while grinding himself aganist her. Joy grasped his hips and pulled him into her, making him buck into her in surprise as they groaned. "Don't play around Carl, just fuck me hard" murmured Joy as she licked and kissed his ear. Carl groaned and thrust into her powerfully, making her buck against him. As Carl picked up the pace, Joy built up her own pace grinding against him while stroking his back hard, causing ripples of pleasure to travel down Carl's spine. Carl lost control and began to thrust wildly into her as he growled in pleasure. Joy gripped his back and pressed him to her as her orgasm rushed through her setting her senses on fire.

"Well you tend to wear me out a lot, I need regular sustinance to keep up with you" said Joy.

After having some food, they made passionate love on the wet rocks by the lagoon. Later when the sunlight began changing colours Carl said to Joy who was resting against his chest. "I think its time we got down, we'll have to get back to the campsite before it gets too dark"

"Yeah unfortunately, i like it up here its so relaxing." said Joy.

"Want to come up here again next weekend?" asked Carl.

"Sure i'd love to, this place is amazing" said Joy.

After getting dressed, Carl checked all the safety equipment and told Joy. "Absailing is quite simple just rest both your feet flat against the wall and use your feet to bounce off the cliff-face then you let a small amount of the rope go and swing yourself into the cliff, press your feet back into the cliff and do it again, when you reach the bottom just let go of the rope and unclip yourself, i'll be following you taking the ropes down."

"Ok, sounds fun" said Joy. She soon got the hang of bouncing down the cliff and was soon at the bottom. "Ok! I'm down!" shouted Joy up to Carl.

"Alright, I'll be right down!" replied Carl. He climbing down over the side of the cliff and planted his feet into the cliff-face, unclipping the pegs in the wall begining the slower decent down the cliff. Sometime later they were back at the campsite.

"You were right Carl, this was an amazing weekend, apart from hurting my leg it was great." said Joy as she hugged him and planted a big kiss on his cheek.

"Alright, now we need to get up early so we don't get back home too late, have to work tommorow Joy." said Carl.

"I know, back to the stress" said Joy.

"Yeah, but we did get that deal, thats going to get such nice profits" said Carl.

"Yeah i know, lets get the fire started so we can go relax in the tent" said Joy.

After they had the last of the food they had brought, Joy settled against Carl's chest and they started talking about general things, mostly though about their lives.

"You've heard all about my tragic stories with men, but i haven't heard anything from you though. What happened with your wife?" asked Joy.

"Well, to tell you the truth it took me a long time to get over her" said Carl.

"Did she do the divorce?" asked Joy.

"No, I did. I found out that she was only ever after my money, i don't think she ever had any real feelings for me" said Carl.

"What a total bitch" said Joy.

"I know, i fell completly in love with totally the wrong woman, it took me months to get over her" said Carl.

"I do kind of know how you feel, i've been in similar circumstances before" said Joy.

After this they lie together quietly for a while then Carl said, "I'm going to put more wood on the fire, then we can get in the sleeping bag together." When Carl re-entered the tent he pulled off his shirt and took off his pants.

"I just love your body Carl, its such a work of art." said Joy, making Carl blush a little. "Hey your blushing! That's so cute" giggled Joy.

"Well you have an amazing body too Joy, you need to show it off more" said Carl as Joy undressed. Joy slid into the sleeping bag, then Carl squeezed in next to her trying hard not to notice Carl's hardness pressing against her through his thin boxers. "Goodnight Joy" said Carl as he kissed her.

"'Night Carl" murmured Joy as she settled against his body loving the feel of Carl's hands slipping behind her back holding her to him.

In the morning, Joy groaned as she felt something pushing at her and a soft voice saying something she couldn't make out. Then she felt a sharp spike of pain which jolted her eyes open. "Owww! Carl!!" shouted Joy as she pulled her hands out of the bag and made a move to hit him back.

"Welcome back to the land of the living Joy, i've been trying to wake you for awhile now" said Carl.

"Looks like i can sleep as deeply as you can" said Joy as she began getting dressed.

"Well its going to be a long trip back home." said Carl.

"I know, have to go home first so i can change." said Joy.

"Sure babe, i have to get changed too" said Carl.

"Miranda, you called to see me?" asked Aaron.

"Yes Aaron, take a seat" said Miranda. "Jason and Sarah have reported back to me and i've determined that tonight will be the best possible time to grab Carl, i have everything i need for the ritual." said Miranda.

"Ok, so am i going to be bringing him in?" asked Aaron.

"Yes, i am sending you and Jake to grab him tonight" said Miranda.

"Ok, i'll be ready, where are we going to grab him?" asked Aaron.

"Carl won't be leaving tonight with Joy, i've made sure that Joy has to leave early, so Carl leaves by himself. You are to take him after he leaves the building." said Miranda

"Ok, I will be ready" said Aaron.

"Good" smiled Miranda.

"Damien, I need to see Laura immediatly its urgent" said Aaron.

"Sure, come on in" said Damien as the gates to the mansion opened.

"Is she in the bedroom?" asked Aaron.

"Yeah she is" said Damien

"Thanks" said Aaron.

"Aaron, what brings you here?" asked Laura.

"Miranda is set for doing the ritual tonight" said Aaron.

"I was hoping she was going to do it later, but it can still be done. Take these" said Laura as she produced three vials of dark red substance.

"This is vampire's blood, if you inject it into your bloodstream it will give you a temporary taste of vampiric senses, the only thing that it doesn't do is regeneration. Use one of these vials on yourself just before the ritual is about to end, it should be working when you need it. When you rescue Carl, injecting him with both of these vials at the same time it should as this has such a high amount of blood heal him enough that he can walk with you, he will be too weak to resist your strengthened abilities however. Get him outside i will be outside with everybody else and we will protect him." said Laura.

"Ok, but i don't know how everybody else will react" said Aaron.

"I hope that Jake will be on our side as he's your friend, but if you can't trust him not to stop you, you need to use this" said Laura as she drew out another vial but this time with a milky substance inside. "This is liquidized silver, its highly toxic to vampires, if exposed to the vapour form of silver it will cause a slow agonizing death unless they can be treated with the antidote" said Laura. "Which is this stuff, i don't even know what it even is but what i do know about it is that it can reverse the effects of silver posioning quite rapidly."

"Ok, So where exactly will you be?" asked Aaron.

"Right outside the mansion Russel knows how to get the gates open so we will be waiting for you. Just get out safely, there is one more thing i need to do, the second bite allows for a more enhanced connection where the vampire can see what the human sees by connecting to their mind" said Laura.

"Alright, hit me with it" said Aaron as he tilted his neck.

"If this all goes to plan, we can be together again" said Laura as she pushed her fangs into neck and drew out some blood. She got the same estatic burst of pleasure that she got the first time. After she lifted her fangs she stopped the bleeding with her tongue and said to him "I love you, Aaron be safe."

"I love you too, i will get him out of there" said Aaron

"Soon, my love we will have Carl and he will belong to the Queen" said Miranda

"Well, this had better not fail Miranda, because you know i can just as easily reverse what i have given you, i am the one who made you" said Marcus.

"Don't worry my love, it won't come to that" said Miranda as she placed a gentle kiss on his lips.

"Jake, how long have you been a vampire and why didn't you tell me?" asked Aaron as they waited for Carl to come out of the office.

"I'm so sorry mate, Miranda just put it on me, i doubt she would have just let me out of it, i didn't want to tell you because i didn't know how you'd react" said Jake.

"Ok, how are you coping with your girlfriend?" asked Aaron.

"Kally is one of us now, i had to tell her everything" said Jake.

"What?! Everything??" exclaimed Aaron.

"No not exactly everything but almost, she doesn't know about this" said Jake.

"Well i'm sure she'd find out soon enough, once Miranda is done with Carl, do you really think she's going to let Kally stay that way?" asked Aaron.

"I'm sorry that you lost your wife Aaron, but it was Kally's choice and i'm going to protect her as best i can, shes still at home i'm going back there as soon as we finish this" said Jake

Aaron notices Carl exiting and locking up the doors. "Its time to do this" said Aaron as he got out of the car.
