Lust Alias: "The Ultimate Lance" First Appearence: Chapter 2 Species: Homunculus Special Qualities: fingernails that can be extended like spears Just like the sin she's named after, Lust is quite seductive and uses that to get what she wants from men. (And if they refuse, she can always threaten them with death by impalement.) She's very loyal to the one known as "Father", and follows his wishes to the letter. However, that doesn't mean she won't attempt to kill one of the "precious sacrifices" if needed.
	Gluttony First Appearence: Chapter 2 Species: Homunculus Special Qualities: Can eat anything; his stomach is a false Gate of Truth Just like his name implies, Gluttony can and will eat anything. (Even humans that he's not supposed to eat, although he generally won't eat "precious sacrifices".) He isn't very intelligent, his vocabulary mostly consisting of the words "Can I eat them?", but he does seem to care deeply for Lust. Whether that's a mother-son-like relationship or something slightly more romantic, no one can be sure. However, he does dispise the one who killed her (namely, Mustang).
	Envy Commonly Referred to by Fans as: Mr. Palm-Tree (or close variations) First Appearence: Chapter 6 Species: Homunculus Special Qualities: Can assume the form of any human or animal Being able to assume any form he wants is quite useful for Envy, especially because he is able to use his ability to deceive others quite easily. Don't call him a monster, though - he's very sensitive about his true form, a hideous beast made up of the souls of people who lived in Xerxes.
	Wrath Alias: "The Ultimate Eye" Also Known As: Fuhrer King Bradley First Appearence: Volume 3's Bonus Chapter, although we discover the fact that he is a homunculus in chapter 29 Species: Previously human, now homunculus Special Qualities: His left eye can see everything. What exactly that means is not quite understood as of yet, but oh well. Wrath is one of "Father"'s greatest achievements, being a homunculus that can actually age. He was created as part of an experiment sixty years ago - a group of children were taken in, trained, and then experimented on one by one. Most didn't survive, but the twelvth one did, becoming Wrath and being given the name of "King Bradley". It was all in an attempt to create a "perfect" Fuhrer for the Military.
	Greed Alias: "The Ultimate Shield" First Appearence: Chapter 25 Species: Homunculus Special Qualities: Can harden the materials of his body into a "shield" that is about as hard as diamond Favorite Quote: "There's no such thing as no such thing." (original); "Nothing is impossible." (Viz Manga) Greed is... well... greedy. He wants everything, as he is clearly named. This includes nothing short of money, ladies, fame, power, and most importantly, "true" immortality. After all, homunculi can die if they run out of regeneration power. (This is the sole purpose he has for capturing Alphonse - to obtain the secret behind the young alchemist's soul being sealed to the armor, making him "immortal".) However, being also greedy for respect, he is not easily inclined to tell lies. Being aligned with the "Father" guy would be against Greed's... greedy nature, so he broke relations with him a while ago. He even formed a group of outcasts - mostly discarded chimeras from the military - and made a base at the Devil's Nest pub.
	Sloth First Appearence: Chapter 31 Species: Homunculus Special Qualities: Unknown Very little is known about this homunculus. What is known is that, like his namesake sin, Sloth is extraordinarily lazy. He has a burly male form, and he is currently underground, "still working" as Lust puts it.
	"Father" First Appearence: Chapter 31 Species: Unknown, although the belief is that he is human Special Qualities: Can extract Philosopher's Stones from himself; can do alchemy without any movement; can prevent regular alchemy from being used (although Scar's and Mei's still work) Don't let this man's appearence fool you - "Father" is not Hohenheim. He appears to know Ed and Al's father, however. Other than what he looks like and what he can do, little is really known about "Father" himself, like the true extent of his abilities, his true personality (every time the reader sees him, he's being extraordinarily passive and dull, although he does seem to care slightly for Ed and Al, them being Hohenheim's kids), or even his motives. All we do know is that he needs alchemists to open the Gate for some reason.
	Pride First Appearence: Chapter 39 (although all the reader's seen of him so far is a silhouette) Species: Homunculus Special Qualities: Unknown Extraordinarily little is known about this homunculus, save this: he's male, extremely loyal to "Father", and has the silhouette pictured to the left. Various rumors have spread about the identity of this homunculus; however, these are all merely readers' speculation, and no one (except perhaps Hiromu Arakawa) knows the truth for sure.
	Greed #2 Alias: "The Ultimate Shield" Also Known As: Ling Yao Commonly Referred to by Fans as: Greedling First Appearence: Chapter 54 Species: Previously human, now homunculus Special Qualities: Can harden the materials of his body into a "shield" that is about as hard as diamond; split personality (see below) "Father" created this homunculus by fusing his free Greed Stone with Ling Yao's body. Greedling has no memories from the previous Greed, although he has the same abilities and policies. However, because this Greed was recently forced into Ling's body, Ling's soul is still in there, proven by the fact that he still cares significantly for Ran Fan's well being. (When Ling does manage to take control, Greedling often has quite a fun time explaining it.) What will come of this "relationship" between homunculus soul and prince soul, only time will tell.
	Gluttony #2 First Appearence: Chapter 57 Species: Homunculus Special Qualities: unknown, although it is assumed that they will be the same as the original Gluttony When Gluttony runs out of energy and is about to disappear, "Father" retrieves his Philosopher's Stone and forms a new Gluttony with all the original's memories. It is apparent, then, that Gluttony is different from the other homunculi. After all, while "Father" had to go find a human host for his Greed and Wrath stones, he creates the new Gluttony out of his own flesh.
