Light is not me despite sharing a name. She is a character I created out of a sort of role play game, and a ficlet wrote between myself Lil_Banik_slave and T-man �Anima your not anima�, I played her for a while and when the game ended I just couldn�t seem to let her go, so in a way she is my embodiment in Nosgoth, but her actions are her own. She was my first original character who lasted longer than ten minuets in my mind.
2. What the heck is an author? I thought it was someone who wrote books . . .
An author is a creature similar to a god. Similar in the sense that they each have a world or worlds in which they have unlimited power to create or destroy. They have �muses� which are natives of the world which have a strong link to the author. For example Light tends to spend time in Nosgoth; her muses are Kain and Raziel. Authors cannot survive without muses they depend on them for inspiration and belief. Like any god they are created through belief and they survive of the belief held in them, when that belief stops they die.
3. What are writer�s blocks?
Writers blocks are the enemies of the authors they have the ability to completely stop an authors power. They are eternal like the authors they were created after the first Great War. The first Great War was in ancient times, authors were not restricted and their power was unstoppable, they fought each other over trifle things. Unfortunately their power was so great that they destroyed entire dimensions when they fought. After sometime the ancient authors decided that they could not allow this to continue so they fashioned an enemy for future authors, a means of control. Many of the fights were due to territory so the ancients also placed a restriction on numbers so that only so many authors could exist at once.
4. How are authors born?
When a mummy and a daddy love each other very much . . . sorry . . . there will always be a certain number of authors, when one dies another has to be born. Two mortal creatures can give birth to an author. For example Light was born on the Serengeti to a pride of were-lions, it was only when her brother died that she realised what she was. Her brother was murdered but he still woke up the next morning due to the necromancy that Light wields, she was subsequently banished from her pride and found herself wondering the dimensions. Until she squatted in Nosgoth.
5. Are all authors the same?
Nope. All authors are different, not just in appearance but in nature and intent. For example Light on the outside appears a were-cat; she has the ability to transform herself into any feline, mythical or natural. She wields a powerful amount of necromancy and has on occasion been know to wake entire graveyards when sneezing. T-Man is a daemon and Lil_Banik_Slave is a hacker while Eiko is a were-wolf. So all the authors are different is it possible for two to be the same but is very rare.
6. Why did you use such strange terms for everything in these fics?
I have no imagination *smile* (that�s why I�m a writer) no but seriously I honestly just couldn�t think of any fancy names for Lights species or for the enemy or for the relationships she has with the natives of Nosgoth so I used Author, writers Block and muse, please forgive me if this has caused any confusion.
