FRIDAY 03 OCTOBER NAZZ NAZZ (TBC) We are talking with the Luxembourg legends to try and secure their services for a Friday night slot. The signs are good depending on whether Thierry Van Verweeken is filming or not. Descibed by some as Luxembourg´s Rolling Stones, Nazz Nazz will release their long awaited new album in October. ARE YOU A POP IDOL?: (Aug05) You may have watched the latest batch of Pop Idols being formed in every country where people listen to popular music. Many of you may have thought, "I could do better!" Well now you have the chance, we are looking for friends or work colleagues to get together in groups of three or four to take part in Lux Idol. We will provide the music and you the performance "live" in front of The Ligger`s Ball audience. Of course, it is not easy to become a Lux Idol; we’ll expect you to raise sponsorship from work mates or pub buddies. You can even call your group after your place of work or favourite pub, sponsorship forms are available from: [email protected] Bands will be judged by audience reaction gauged using our incredibly accurate clapometer (pat pending). The audience will give their opinions based on; your singing, stage performance & Lux Idol star quality. What about the winners? Can they go back to the office on Monday morning and tell the boss to "Stuff his job", safe in the knowledge of a jet set lifestyle? Even better, we’ll take the winners into a professional recording studio to record their winning song. All money raised is donated to "Een Härz fur kriibskrank Kanner" & children suffering the effects of terrible poverty and war.
