Social Studies/Science: We have completed our first Science kit and test. We will begin studying Geogrpahy this week.	Writing:      Throughout the course of the year we will focus on teaching the 6+1 Traits of writing.  The traits are: Ideas Organization Word Choice Sentence Fluency Voice Conventions Presentation     Each trait focuses on a different aspect of writing and the writing process.  For the first marking period, we will focus on Ideas and Conventions.	Math:                            We are into Topic 3, which covers measurement and Geometry.
