Dear LIFE School Community:

I hope this finds you well. I know it has been far too long since we sent you an update. Please check out our latest edition of LIFE News, to get a  glimpses into our activities over the past two months: LIFE News 13

A warm welcome to our
new sponsors Genevieve Leiper & Charles Karrick and John & Kathryn Humphries.

Congratulations to our wonderful secretary, Eunice, who just finished her law degree!

As you can see above, Daniel Jamsa and his students have been working very hard to create websites for the
8th Annual Canadian Virtual Science Fair. This is a tremendous achievement, especially considering the limitations of our current computer lab. The ability to create a website will be a great asset to our students in their future academic and professional careers. Bravo for doing such a fantastic job!

The year is quickly coming to an end with many
exciting events still ahead:
- Introduction of new
Mac laptops in the upcoming weeks. A big thank you to Andrea, Catherine, Jaime, and the donors (Catherine Todd, Martin Suter, Mariana Froehlich & Uli Goerke, Andrea Netscher & Nuno Jimenez, John Kully, Tom Boice, Cheryl Yelek, Meagan Londy, Abel & Guadalupe Recinos, Jon & Mihoko Cybyske, Dina Salpor, LIFE News, and students at LIFE) for helping to make this happen!
- A second science video conference at the US Embassy in Guatemala City this Wednesday and Thursday with a visit to the zoo
-
Mothers Day Breakfast this Friday
- Our
annual science fair next Wednesday
- A trip to the Xocomil
Waterpark with the entire school next Friday. This trip was made possible by generous donors who would like to stay anonymous.
-
