THE RAIN  

Of the many wonders that the Lord has created, the rain is one that has enchanted me since childhood.

I still remember the days in the village when the sudden down pour would bring to a momentary stand still all activities, and it was not uncommon to see both the young and old to stare out from the safety of a shelter at the majesty of the rain. It was almost like a  homage.

The rain has a compelling effect on me.  It tones my mind and body. For a moment, all else is lost in it's embrace.  Many a reflection were born during such moments.
