Victor Artani Carton
Name: Victor Artani Carton Age: 25 Information: Victor was born strange. Growing up, Victor was always bewitched by the confusing events surrounding his life... how when he seemed to get angry that odd things would happen. Tantrums could be dangerous, especially when they involved his older brother David-- and he had reduced him to his knees with a stomach ache over a toy that he wanted. He still found it odd that his brother never wanted to play with him, and so he spent much of his time in the presence of his mother or studying books on everything and anything. After the supposed death of his father, Victor had started to notice his mother transform from a meek housewife into a very startling tyrant. For the most part, Victor liked to stay away from home and study in Exeter while David was away-- just leaving him with the impression that he was taking care of their mother. A lapse in her health called him home, however, and Victor ended up taking on the charge of watching over her, and her new pet wallaby. One day when he was cleaning out the house he stumbled across a very old book full of his mother's handwriting... words that disclosed some very dark secrets about her past and things that explained away a lot of his powers. He was the descendent of not only a gypsy, but a witch. And well, ever since then, Victor has been more concerned with learning all he can about his untapped source of power. He has been seeking out the aid of anyone that can teach him anything, which has proved to be a very dangerous quest considering the taboo subject matter. Now he is in Germany... researching at some of the old cathedrals... Appearance: Victor bears a very startling resemblence to his brother David. He has a thin face, high cheek bones, sunken in eyes (brown in color), and thick wavy black hair that he ties back in the most intricate manner he can manage-- with a bow. Typically he wears the normal clothes that are in style- breeches, stockings, shirt, and a tail coat... but for now he has dressed down to appear as humble as possible. His cloak was given to him as a gift from one of the monks, and he has donned it with pride. Though he tries to avoid the sun, Victor's skin color is the same sunbeaten color as his brother's- though he blames it on his blood rather than exposure to the light. After returning to England, Victor wedded Iolantha and went around the countryside with her making babies and training dancing bears.
