Andre
Sylvestre Basset
Name: Andre Sylvestre Basset (Sylvestre) Age: 40 DOB: September 7, 1765 Information: He is the younger of Miss Bassets sons and goes by Sylvestre. When he was younger, he was Jeans closest friend. They lost touch after Sylvestre became married at the age of 16 to a butchers daughter, Adeline, and Jean went to a university. They now have three girls together. Sylvestres "father" died at the end of the Six Years War, a little before he was born, and Jean knew that in truth he was his brother. Jeans father treated him kindly and gave him access to an education like his legitimate sons, though Jean later convinced Sylvestre out of jealousy to follow the workers life instead for his wifes sake. Sylvestre uses his education to circulate a news pamphlet and write plays for the local theatre. He is very loving and good-natured and was part of an anti-revolutionary movement in Provence. Recently, he was called to serve in the French army and was presumed dead after a while, but he returned while Nicki was in Aix. Because of Sylvestre's excellent propaganda plays, one of which the emperor saw on a visit to the Provences, Sylvestre was allowed to return from war permanently to continue to write. He also continued to funnel information to England, of course. And when suspicion began to fall on Jean's family because of hsi allegiances, Sylvestre helped Gabriel get out of the country, followed by himself and his family. He quickly found work at the theatre where Nicki works, writing comedies. Appearance: Sylvestre is not very attractive, despite the failed attempt at a picture. He has dark, close set eyes and matted curly brown hair. He also has a large nose with a flat bridge, which greatly resembles that of Jeans father. He is simply dressed though not so bad off economically.
